Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data.
Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear cache.

If you still get the message, is there a "+" next to the message you can expand to see the reason it's incompatible, such as screen size, OS version, memory, etc?

I have the same problem! And no, there's no "+".

I had to go buy a Kyocera at Wall mart for $50usd they had one for $40 but this one was waterproof. There is probably a reason they needed to go with lollipop, I have no idea what that was.

This issue really needs to be fixed I reported this to help and support but they just give out ♥♥♥♥ replies.

And this problem happens while updating Hay Day and Boom Beach also.

To all just download the apk from trusted source and you will be fine.

I don't know why SC can't give out link for the apk on forums with each update ,seriously this will just solve problems of many.

I'm running Lollipop (5.0.1).

Anyways, a friend running KitKat (4.4) updated the game just fine, so it's not a problem with the OS version.

I wish they would just admit the update is not working properly take it down and give us all a free 12 hour shield when its back up.

Was close to having enough gold to upgrade a wizard tower to 7 that will all be gone and my hard won trophies will be gone as well just because SC won't address the problem.

Tried all the "fixes" have loads of space on phone and updated something else today without issues. This has to be a COC problem can't see why SC are ignoring it

I have cleared cache in Google play and CoC and CoC data, tried restarting, tried pulling the battery still says not compatible (there is no +) . I am on a LG G4 running Google play 6.0.5 and Android 5.1.

I SAID IT 100 TIMES ALREADY.... The fix for device incompatible is to download the apk file from the web and install it manually. Maybe a mod can make a sticky post about that?

Alright so I followed the steps for clearing Google play store. I attempted to uninstall then 're install clash, but since the update I can no longer find it on the playstore what is going on? The reason I removed is it said my device wasn't compatible

I can't see what's wrong. Like I have said I followed the steps to try and fix the repair. But since uninstalling its totally vanished from playstore what's weird is so as other supercell games
