    Same issue

I have the same issue on my HTC M9. Emailed SuperCell and just get the generic response to access help menu from the game, but that obviously isn't possible...

Please ensure both your Android software and your Google Play Store app is updated and try again.

    Try this:

Android users who cannot update the app, please try the following: go to Applications > Google Play Store > Clear Cache

Android: "This app is not compatible with your device” That's impossible!

A brand new LG Spirit LTE.
A device released this year, running Lollipop (5.0.1)

I can't update because in the Play Store, it says “not compatible with your device.”

I've been playing perfectly until this update.

A friend using a KitKat device (4.4) updated the game with no errors, so it's not a problem of the software version.

I already rebooted the phone, cleared Google Play cache, Google Play Services cache... I did everything.

    SC please, fix this.

Try to download the apk file from the net and install it manually. I've done that with a couple of other games to fix that.

I have the same issue saying "not compatible with my device" on Google play. Using droid turbo with version 5.1. Cleared Cache on COC and cleared data on the play store then rebooted phone. Searched Clash of Clans on the play store and it cannot even find it. It has been hours Supercell, people need some kind of response.

Thank you for the help, but i prefer not downloading apks manually because of the risk.
By the way, it's SC who has to fix this.

I'm having the same problem. Getting angry. Have tried all the suggestions to no avail. I'm letting my clan down because we're in the middle of a war. This needs to be fixed immediately. I have invested cash into this game, and this is unacceptable!

I don't have answers for you, except try these.

Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data.
Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear cache.

If you still get the message, is there a "+" next to the message you can expand to see the reason it's incompatible, such as screen size, OS version, memory, etc?
