Close coc, Close Play store and restart the game
click on the msg that say a new update is here, 3 or 4 tries max and you will c the update.

I opened up CoC this morning, it told me there was an update available.

I clicked Update, went to the playstore, clicked Update again. It downloaded for a few seconds and finished. I clicked Open, and it still says Update available..

Uninstalled the game. Reinstalled. Uninstalled, turned phone off. Reinstalled.. still says Update available. Im getting aggravated. I boosted my Barracks with real money for War that ends in 2 hours! Fix this quick please.

SC Pushed the button to make the update available in both the Apple Store and Google Play when they started upgrading the servers. The servers are still under maintenance, so you aren't missing any gameplay.

Both Apple and Google have their stores broken up by many locations - the update download is starting to populate in the various stores right now. It should be available in all of them very shortly.
