Christmas will have a gem cost discount ?

Well I think the title speaks for itself, I was just wondering if there's going to be a discount in the gem costs for Christmas, I kinda have 10 new players that I am helping and I want them to have another builder so I was thinking about giving them 1200 gems for Christmas each, but I kinda need the discount.. Let me know please
