Who else is buying a one day shield tomorrow morning??

I have never once needed to buy a shield and come tomorrow you'll be even better off cause you'll get an easy shield right away anyways.....

Here is a shielding question and geming a shield. If you use gems to get a 7 day shield, can you attack through that shield all week and only know off a few hours of the shield at a time?

My th is still upgrading to th9, 3 days left, and they will steal all of my loot ready for things after upgrade

Regarding attacking while shielded:

• Being shielded no longer prevents entering multiplayer matchmaking, browsing targets, or attempting revenge
• Executing a multiplayer or revenge attack while shielded will deduct 3 hours from the remaining shield time
• Additional attacks while shielded will deduct increasing amounts of shield (4 hours, 5 hours, etc...)

So that would give you 168H worth of shield and by the 15th attack that would cost 18H (considering you do all the attacks in the first 18H) worth of shield the shield would go down. Never tryed it since the update isnt live but that my understanding

Not going to start spending money at this point. All my earned gems go to boosting barracks / spell factory.

I'd prefer to avoid being a target, by managing my loot. A TH9 offering > 100K Gold, > 100k Elixir and > 1k Dark Elixir is a very, very, low prioirty target, especially when all of the pumps, mines and drills are consistently emptied.

Granted, once you build to a certain point, you are going to get hit for around 2k Dark Elixir per day. That's the issue - develop a post-update farming strategy which can ensure you recover those daily losses.

Exactly what the new update is intended to do.
Spend spend spend kidos.
Game may as well be owned by EA now.
My whole clan and I quit over this update about 2 weeks ago. Not one out of the 30ish accounts bases are being attacked anymore. Totally out of the que.
Better believe this update is taking the game down. Was so obvious to us all that it was 100 percent about more cash that we all left.
Was fun while it lasted and thanks for the memories original crew of SC.
