New Dark Elixir Troop?

If i'm not mistaken we were told to expect a new DE troop and all we got were lvl 7 minions. Oh look at me complaining lol. But seriously, weren't we supposed to get a new DE troop?

No one with any knowledge said anything of a new dark troop. Only the "leaked" image of the new DB on the website. However, SC has been known to troll people with those images. And who knows, it could have been an old image that was never used (it did look like a gray level 2 DB).

My guess is they will add a dark troop in the next couple updates.

Never said anything about it. I'd think soon, because on the DB ITSELF it says "coming soon".

Nope we were never told to expect a new dark troop by supercell or any of the moderators here. Lava hounds just came out about this time last year I believe so who knows, maybe a new dark troop will come in one of the next few updates or maybe it will be another year.

Coming soon means different things to different ppl I guess.

Supercell will slowly round out TH11 over several months of updates. Eventually I'm sure we'll get a new dark troop, more levels for existing troops, higher level camps and defenses, higher level sf and dsf, etc. we will just need to wait because all of this won't happen at once.

I think the new troops.are already done, but Supercell does not release them on purpose. Loot really sucks at th11 and this is the only way they get all the trophy pushers that want to stay on top to gem like hell. Why the witch buff? Because they know league bonus will never pay a mass witch attack.
When all the high end trophy pushers have paid their gems, they will bring offensive upgrades that make it easier for the next wave of players. This is exactly the same thing they did at th10. In the beginning you only have a huge loot penalty and they they slowly make it easier. This is the only reason for loot penalty that was introduced a short time before the th9 update.

I figured out recently that SC like to release flying units. Last was Lava soon is Grand Warden. So what next?

Yeah, I thought that for sure there would be a new dark troop for TH10 to help balance. Each TH from 7 to 9 all get 2 new dark troops and TH10 has none. Also, there are 4 "coming soon" spots left in the dark barracks... 2 for TH10 and 2 for TH11
