Lightbulb Minimal weight base on TH (for Clan war)

I don't know if that was already suggested.
Currently , clan war are match base on weight of base which is heavily focus on defense alone.
I have seen a th7 player with only 1 lv1 cannon defense (with dragons and spells) which weight lower than a th3.
-I believe I do not need to say what does it mean it detail-

Such system greatly favor to rush TH which is consider to be bad base on cocwiki (and supercell, I think)
    -
Thus consider TH in weighting system regardless of troops level or offense, putting in effect of topic idea
"minimal weight for each TH level regardless of offense and defense"
    -
    Simple example of minimal weight-
TH8 minimal weight is mid TH7
TH7 minimal weight is mid TH6
Or if the game really want to upgrade TH only after all max, then minimal weight would be max -1 TH.

I actually agree with this, but Imho a rushed th7 should fight another th7.
on lower townhalls it doesnt make a huge difference but take a TH10 once those inferno's rise, most th9's can forget the two star.

I've seen TH10's with max inferno's and lvl 1 xbows yet th7/8 defenses. wipe out TH9 armies in mere seconds.

Yah. I mean just minimal weight, not actual weight.
to be detailed, if player get specific troops/upgrade. Weight would be minimal TH at least.
    --
    Example.
Offense-TH7 with dragon and rage, regardless of any defense or other troops research level, Weight will be minimal th7. or mid one.
Defense-TH7 with 2 air defense will be consider minimal TH7 regardless of any other defense level.
*In short, getting defense or offense (upgrade or new troops) relate to spefic TH will not weight any lower TH*

TH8 with golem and/or pekka would do the same trick, etc..

The only problem I see with this suggestion is: Define MID. People have different definitions for Mid TH7. Mid Defenses, walls, troops, etc.

No one really knows exactly how matching works, and it would appear to go on overall clan strength, meaning that it does not really match individual bases against each other, and the base you mirror on defense is not necessarily the closest to your overall strength.

It also appears that defense weighs more heavily than offense, which makes sense since attacking relies at least as much on skill as it does on troop strength whereas defending requires basically no skill at all.

This has led to defenseless or engineered bases in war, and many people believe they can gain an advantage over opposing clans by doing so, which may be true if the player is a good attacker. The flip side of this though is that while defenseless bases help draw matches with weaker clans, they also hand an easy 3 stars to the enemy, so it's really somewhat difficult to say whether they're actually much benefit at all. Also, I've personally rarely if ever come across any, and the matching is pretty good otherwise, so really this would only be addressing extreme cases.

I completely agree with this. Its frustrating to have a th10 match up with our mid th9s and easily wipe them out because they have more/better troops, and spells.
