Respectfully, the next time there happens to be some "big" update coming, please stop this drag-it-out-forever way of teasing us. This would have all been so much better if Supercell had skipped Clashcon altogether, skipped two weeks (!) of "previews", and just said hey, an update's coming...AND RELEASED IT! Clash of Clans already requires an unbelievable amount of patience; please stop making us wait forever for everything AS IF IT IS SO MUCH FUN!

I respect your opinion. But all of this is optional. No one is forcing us to check forums everyday at 3:00 pm to see new sneak peeks. Also it won't be really exciting as much as now if we just get update as other games do. I play several games but the most exciting way of update is clash one. Sneak peeks makes you want to get the update instantly which is not a bad thing since once you get you will try to test every part of it & what you saw in videos. All in all sneak peeks are for us to get little sight over the update so let take them as they are & have fun

Can you imagine the mess in the forum if this update with all its complex shield changes had just been released?? It would be complete chaos and not a good plan!

Right. And that is just how it will be when the updates land in clashworld where few players are aware of what is coming their way.
It's impossible so tell your opinion here without being called a whiner and complainer....why not just respect other opinions and stop being rude?
I love sneak peeks, with them you get very excited about the update, also it would be chaos if such a big update would just be released without sneak peeks. But they hyped it unnecessary long, they were saying there comes a big update since april!
They said they'll announce it at clashcon, but noooo, we just had to wait another 3 weeks since clashcon und even than we got only sneak peeks. The update was hyped and promised unnecessary long!

Completely agree OP.
This sneak peek fest that's seems to be going on forever is more offputting than generating excitement imo. Just realised the update and be done with it sc, then we can decide we there we like it or not.
These endless speculations about what's gonna happen and who is going to be adversely affected etc,... Yadayadayawn!!
