At townhall level 8 when you have bought all the elixir upgrades and troops, you are stuck with alot of useless elixir, the lvl 8 walls at th8 take alot of gold 🤑 so it would be extremely useful if you could spend 500k elixir on level 8 walls because getting all level 8 walls at th8 with just gold takes a long time🕑

That ♥♥♥♥ing ruined the economy, so they took it away. Why are you asking for something pretty much ruled out?

Train up some Pekka/Wiz armies or mass dragons and get your DE research and BK upgraded. Once those are maxed, go to TH9 whether your walls are up to snuff or not. As long as you have a start on the skull walls, you can plunk extra gold to getting the rest up to skulls, and spare elixir (if you ever get it at TH9) can go into making legos and lavas.

It's the prescribed upgrade path. And it's this way to give us TH9's someone worth raiding. ;-)

Sorry if I was rude, but here's some advice. I'd move to TH9 if you're really concerned about it, if not, max out lab, and move up.

Not for me, I usually get 300k of each resource (except DE, which is like 800-2000), making the only problem with getting elixir is to not spend it all on the army composition. I get a profit of over 100k every attack and I have two more elixir upgrades to get (jump and lightning), I upgraded my TH when I had all level 7 walls and I'm fine right now.
