Th9s have it the best by far. TH10s kinda get the short end of the stick troop wise because a max TH9 has many of the important max war troops as a TH10(Hogs/Loons/Witches/Valks/Heal/Rage(TH8), but for the most part, TH10 has everything a TH9 would want....go figure right? TH8s can easily move to TH9 and have very little effect on farming and it will actually increase enjoyment for wars.

May be nice to also have a TH5, 6, 7, and 8 for war though. So you get 10 attacks per war at various levels.

I'm th 8 and so far I like the new update. I'm not there yet, but in a year or two I will be th 11! It will be fun to see the new strategies people come up with for the eagle defence and the other extra defences!

Pfff, forget that! I'm staying at TH9. No reason for me to go to TH10 because all the upgrades gonna be a huge pain after the new release comes out. Nice to see there may be a TH11 after a few weeks to stomp on those TH10 bases Lol

I don't care what they give TH10 bases, although they are totally spoiled with all the added defenses and troop/spell upgrades, but it's also way harder up there, so I'll just stay down here

It already happens a little bit anyways. Understanding that TH11 is getting another storage level, previous updates have basically lowered a lot of upgrade costs when new higher levels were introduced. Some of this could eventually be mitigated rather easily with an extra builder, a 2nd lab, lowered upgrade times, etc.

I'm not sure mid-level "characters" works as well given that you already get to mid level at TH8 very quickly. It's the last couple levels of "end game" that just drag on and on. I think much of this is mitigated by war though. Prior to war the goal was just go go go to max your base. Now there's something legit to do while you're a low-mid level. If we ever get some daily quest type things that's even more to do at that level.

Some things in TH9/10 should be lowered in cost, given that they are not the highest level anymore. Things like xbow in TH9 or AT,cannon lvl 12-13 in TH10 really need to go down in cost.

Another thing that can allow newer players to catch up is to significantly lower lab times, especially TH8-10. Everything below has reasonable lab times until the plethora of troops,spells,dark troops, dark spells in TH8-10 that takes such a long time to complete. In TH10, you'll need months to work on war troops before you max them, while in TH9 you can war as soon as hounds 2, loons 6

After the update, TH9 will have access to every troop and spell, including the freeze spell. IMO it's the best balanced TH in the game.

I think some may be missing the point about the TH10s griping about no new content. It isn't that there is no content for them to aspire for, it is that TH10 is still dramatically imbalanced. As a 10, it isn't that I want new and more powerful stuff to play with, it is that 10 is skewed way in the favor of defense.

Never understood this mentality (or even gemming to a degree) you play this game for fun, if your ignoring or skipping the content whats the point?

The shiny 'new' tag carries too much weight in peoples minds i think.
