    Player manual needed

With all these new changes in shields and PBT and although I've been following the forum I still can't work it out and I'm 100% sure others can't either .

I strongly suggest SC to make a clear in game guide for new and old players alike to learn these rules.

Just imagine picking this game up on the store as a new player ... Most won't even think about coming to the forums to read the " rules " of the game and even if they do this game has become way too complicated for the casual player and players under 13 yo.

The casual player will find it too complicated and will look for something more " easy-going" whilst under 13 yo won't even get their heads around it .

If most people wont come to the forum to read the rules wat makes you think they will look for/ download a manual? 🙈

It took me 2-3 days before I could completely understand the changes.

Imagine a new player getting stuck on the "in-game explanations". They'll probably quit before Building their first building.

This. I couldn't grasp the PBT and VG completely. New players will learn as it goes, seeing as no TH3 would play for 3 hours straight.

Learn as it goes ... doesn't work when you are new and getting robbed off your precious loot all the time. You will get bored or fed up or both and think the game it's faulty before you even give it a propper chance and try to learn to play it.

lol but you have no idea how it will end up working out because you haven't experienced it yet. yes, players will get robbed more but they'll be able to find loot easier and attack 3 times for every time they get attacked, so saving up may actually be easier. i think most players will get the hang of how it works within a couple days of using it, and that it's a lot easier to learn that way than through a manual.

When you are new one raid is enough resources for an upgrade. Back then I couldn't care less about losing resources on a defense. I knew it was part of the game. I didn't start giving TH snipes to people until I was told that's how you should play. Getting rid of snipes now and not exposing new players to this would be a good thing.
