Don't worry, I don't have a problem with shields. I think that it would be cool to add an auto gold elixer, and dark elixir harvester with a one week shield. How it would work would be it only harvests when it is full. It would be amazing.
This will promote passive farming and im not sure that this is what SC is trying to promote. Plus this is an interactive game and any kind of automizations will not be supported.
