    Automatic trap reset

    Since this new update has focused on defense, I have been experimenting with different base layouts of my own design and letting myself get attacked in preparation for the new update. The most frustrating thing is being attacked multiple times while away from my phone, not getting the 30% that would be needed for a shield in the next update (just me testing out bases I've made), and then losing a lot of loot because I cannot check my phone every single time I am attacked to reset my traps and reload my xbows and infernos. I know things will be different in the th11 update, but it would be nice to have a feature that would allow us to automatically reset our traps and refill our xbows/infernos for when we cannot take advantage of the Village Guard after successful defense that does not give us a shield. This is kind of along the same lines as the automatic cc troop request after a successful defense with no shield given. For example, last night I was attacked 3 times before getting a shield under the current 40% shield system. I lost a lot of loot because all of my traps were sprung. Obviously, I am not going to wake up in the middle of the night to reset my traps. If my traps could be automatically reset, i.e an on/off toggle available in the town hall, it would have helped me defend better instead of loosing 200k loot 3 times. Under the new shield system, I would have had a shield on the second failed attack, not the third. The same goes for cc defense. An on/off toggle would be helpful so we don't lose our cc troops if we have a special troop for a war attack. Sorry for the wall of text, but this would be another great quality of life addition.     You should re-read the section on shields. I think you missed something regarding won defenses and % dmg to be given a temp shield(un-attackable period). Auto-rearming of traps isn't something the development team or the community would like in the end. The same reason they wont allow auto clan castle troop request.

    This idea is ruled out. Please read the stickied threads at the top of the page for information on ruled out ideas and common requests before posting.

    SC's goal is to promote activity in the game , this idea would promote inactivity.

    Currently Ruled Out:

    *Auto reset/repurchase traps if you win a defense (shield didn’t activate, still attackable)

    My understanding in the new update is that we are given Village Guard for 15 minutes after a successful defense that does not give us a shield to re arm traps and defenses. Are we not supposed to sleep? lol
