    Hero's ability used during defense

    Able to use Hero's ability during defense. Not automatic must be activated during live attack.

    Sounds like an interesting idea, however would require rebalancing certain aspects to implement. Right now attacking troops don't always target the hero or cc troops until 1 or 2 strikes has been made against them. See where this could lead? Decimating multiple units before they even attack the hero or cc defending troops would cause a large swing in an attack that would drive people away from playing. You would need a way for the attacker to counter the usage of the ability.

    This would be to overpowered. Plus, viewing a live attack is not really "live" there is a time delay in what you are viewing.

    I see your point. Here's where I'm at. Most attacks are done on weaker bases. When i look for loot i look for weaker "easier" bases most people do. I just upgraded to th9 and get attacked by high lvl 10's w/ maxed troops all the time. Unless they attack with a barch they are to powerful and my defense won't stop them. This has always been an issue higher lvls taking out lower lvls and there is nothing you can do to defend it.

    In that instance, nothing can be done. TH9 isn't stopping a max TH10 from getting some of what they want. TH10 doesn't 3 star everything they attack. If they do, you need to rethink your base layout. Im TH9 and have defended TH10 attacks. Most th10s get at least 50% damage, some get the th too, but not all.

    A lot of people attack harder bases too. Sometimes I intentinally target harder bases to see how my planning strategy on the fly works out. Sometimes it works well.

    At town hall 7 I could 3 star any th6 with just archers and barbs, use same attack on th6's and low lvl 7's at th8. Now at lvl 9 I can 3 star 99% of th8 with a hog raid. How do you figure overpower.

    We are talking about hero using abilities during defense. That would be overpowering. Anyone hogging knows that CC troops, AQ, and BK can destroy a hog raid. At TH9 with max hogs, you should be able to 3 star nearly every th8 out there.
    The hero ability adds additional troops and rages them. BK kills a hog in 1-2 swings without rage, level depending of course. On rage its a 1 hit kill. That means in 10 seconds you lost about 10 hogs just to BK. That doesn't count the barbs that spawn with him. 1 max barb kills a hog in about 4 hits. On rage its 2. You have 8 units at level 10 bk. That's another 1 or 2 hogs lost a second. In 10 seconds you lost roughly 20 hogs. This doesn't include AQ or the defending CC. If BK is surrounded by 3 or 4 defending structures, you just lost half your hogs because of the BK with abilities.

    New update

    You guys will think twice about this when the new update comes out. The higher lvls won't be farming or sniping. The lower lvls will get walked all over and your defence can't stop them.

    Im in favor of the ability being extended usage through the heal period, but that doesn't mean Ill use it. I never sleep my heros unless im about to war raid and have no shield.
