I ask you to keep your comments that are simply meant to be rude and unconstructive out of this thread. This type of comment is out of line and disrespectful. This is not what the clash community was built for. I also invite you to not reply if you mean to do it in a similar manner to your first comment.

I definetly can can understnd that. Supercell never explains the spawn system of the holiday obstacles so new players have a massive disadvantage.

I like the idea, honestly would pay to move my xmas tree from 2012. I mean, it's almost inevitable that I will have to remove it at some point, and that will make me sad.

I would take the concept even further. Let us use an extra elixir expense to transplant spawned obstacles to where we would like? I mean, think of how creative we could get with the asthetic and design of our bases.

Supercell, please let me move my tree 🙏🏼 And please make all obstacles transplantable using an added cost of elixir.

Voted for 'No this feature would break the game' on two points:

First... What an utterly trivial "issue" to request SC to dedicate their efforts towards.
Second.. You must have toddlers as your options are ridiculously out of balance (Fabulous idea OR No one will ever get to play again). If your proposal has any merit it should be able to bear some manner of scrutiny.

But in the spirit of Christmas here's a counter-proposal - In order to maintain balance, a new anti-Hero is also born .. The chainsaw weilding "Jason Q. Grinch" who's sole purpose is to saw down Xmas Trees... BUT..low to modest HP, and it takes 2.5 mins to drop a tree... so you Xmas Tree fans could reasonably defend your trees even when your bases were cleared, as the Grinch would need to be in position within the first 60 seconds, and not get struck for the duration.

    Agreed?

    No.

    1. An obstacle is an obstacle which blocks your path.

    2. They spawn randomly and if you can move it, its really pointless.

    3. Build better bases to make them spawn on the outer edges.

Not trying to be rude but these are my reasons. /notsigned.

lol I appreciate your sarcasm. But let me just say that what is "trivial" to you is not trivial to many other players. Respect our views please and we will respect yours. The options are also not out of balance. If you really don't want a feature implemented then it would break the game for you.

An obstacle does not need to impede your way permanently. Think about it. You're in the back yard and you have a raspberry bush that you really want to keep because you enjoy eating its produce. The problem is that it's obstructing you from adding that addition to your house that you really need because your new child needs a room of their own. Is the only solution to rip the bush out and throw it in the mulch pile? No! You can get a shovel and carefully transplanted it to a save spot. The bush that was once an obstacle to your progressing in life is not longer in your way but is still in existence is a save spot happily living out its life.

I have been playing this great game since May 2013 and it's one that I always come back to. In that time I've received many special holiday obstacles which I love. I got the 2013 Christmas tree when I was a TH8 and was disappointed that they never spawned on the edge of my base but I worked around them. They were annoying where they were but it was manageable in most cases.

Now that Supercell has announced the release of TH11, they also feel as if the map size will need to be larger as well (makes sense most TH10 bases take up almost the entire map as it is). I'm very happy they decided to have this expansion. However, the issue is that my Christmas trees that I've been cultivating since 2013 will most definitely be getting in the way of building half way decent trophy bases. I don't want to cut them down seeing as how they show my long time dedication to the game. I also cannot easily progress to TH11 and continue my base designing passion if my Christmas trees are getting in the way of these designs.

Just because my tree is one tile off does not mean I, or any other player, should not get equal treatment and accommodations.

I propose a transplant option for Holiday obstacles. A one time placement edit for holiday obstacles that can even cost a few gems to move. I would happily spend gems to move my Christmas trees to the safety of the border but sadly Supercell hasn't given us that option yet.

Please Supercell, let us move our Holiday decorations that you spent time designing. Don't make us destroy them!
