    BTW, storage raids are awesome, but not nearly as time effiencient as barching collectors and TH sniping. Loot per hour for storage raiding has to be and is significantly less than hitting collectors and TH's. It is just good strategy to get loot quicker using cheaper faster cooking armies, for all those saying "you just not good enough to hit storages" is just laughable, that was never the point, it was a matter of time efficiency and not about skill of using huge armies which cost waaaay more cutting into loot profits.
    The argument when people complain about bad loot because of no dead bases the general response is to learn how to do storage raids because they are always available. Well if there was never an issue finding a base to do storage raid on before how will this change make anything better?

    I'd rather not wait hours for a decent army to train and still have a chance at failing and walking out with zero, and noobsauce barch can't do storage raids unless the base is really, really bad. So I prefer collector raids, though they do thin out a bit at TH10, when you do find them they're whales because 10s generally have maxed collectors.
    We told one of our newer members to lightning the cc....He dropped a lightning spell on the actual cc - no luring the troops or anything. Guess we should have been more specific...

    It should get better as the massive 80% attacks providing shields to the massive storages gets taken out of the equation.

    My concern is that you can in theory do 3 attacks shielded and take in return 1 attack when unshielded at the end of it. 4:1 to 6:1 if you stay online and train storage raiding armies before shorter PBT kicks in. The sleeping cycle you get 1 attack where you dont attack back.

    So conservatively you can probably do 6 attacks (2 cycles of shield breaking attacks) a day easily without trying to stay online before PBT kicks in. And take 3 attacks in return.

    Meaning shielding 6 bases and let yourself to be shielded 3 times.

    Now, unless there a majority of players who dont attack and let the shield expires, eg ~3:1 active to passive players there will be a nett reduction in attackable unshielded bases.

    For that reason I guess that the collector raids will come back a bit to pick up the slack.

    SC staff should have a large real time graph showing total unshielded available bases to be attacked. That will be a 1 factor look into the global economy

    Because many people forum prefer super easy super cheap way to farm, snipping and dead base. I mean if supercell granted that wish, imagine how easy it is to get max base lol

    i think this update is great, skill and active players will actually will get rewarded.

    People that only want dead base and snipping can just go and find other games lol

    With storage raids what people consider to be acceptable is going to be the amount of loot they can get from a base. I like to get 200 - and factor in the loot bonus. It is true, there are lots of bases with 200k gold in. Them.... But it doesn't mean that I can hit all 4 storages. It doesn't mean that I could hit all 5 in this new update....

    It pains me to see that people are not realizing why people have loot in their storages which makes storage raids so good. That is frequency of loot injection into the economy through loot bonus, war, or collector. Since snipes and frequency of loot bonus generation is freakin prevalent (80%+), loot bonus is lining the storages of everyone in higher leagues while collectors are doing that in lower leagues. You think imaginary vast hidden resources that are hidden by snipes (btw, when they get sniped, they generate infinitely efficient loot for another player to line their storages as well in time and resources) will be able to be sustained when they get cleaned out and sent into another player's walls. It is all about frequency of loot injection matching our spending, not the availability. Because we can easily spend that availability if we get our hands on it like nothing. We need to balance with FRESH LOOT and a significant amount of that is being slashed.

    They are also not considering loot distribution of these so called hidden bases that are getting sniped. Not all of them are rich bros. Many are poor. Many poor THs get sniped too and bring new loot to be spent by the users that play this game (the economy). Moreover, not only frequency but average loot bonus per successful attack decreases (70% destruction to get what is now 100%).

    Also, competition will drastically increase as a new hidden loot economy is introduced in the form of shielded/VG attacking when these players cannot search and compete for those same bases before. Much more to it but I'm tired of typing this over and over because people don't seem to understand these points.

    Just another point off the top of my head is that behavior of bases that are about to run out of shield changes and they will also change when they cannot put their TH outside anymore. People break their shields much more often when they feel the safety of the sniper increasing the chances their loot won't be stolen.

    Please wake up! I am not hating the direction SC is taking. But massive loot injection per second will be slashed and needs balance. Where do you think our loot comes from and in those storages of the bases you want to attack???

    I've raided both collector & storage bases but when I know I will find a base with full collectors after 20 nexts why go for storages which I may/not be able to take all of them. Before you were gaining 100k per storage at th10 now will get 80k per storage which means you should bring better troops & more spells to make sure you get more storages. Also people will be more prepared to guard those storages which means you might get out with loss in a raid if things get bad. I think farming will be way harder & progress will become way slower

    I don't think so, I think it is trying to point out the real motivation behind the update. Looks like it is to slow everybody's progression down.
    Quick loot through quick snipes inbetween storage raids - gone. Making them much less efficient.
    Quick loot through barching abandoned bases - not gone, but expect it to be much slower once everybody drops down to gold and silver competing for the same collector or weak rushed bases.

    Storage Raids decreased significantly when people started to chuck all their gold/elixir into walls before logging off. Now they'll get kicked off, they will try and spend it but sometimes will be left with filled storages, and they won't immediately get a free shield, so storage raids will be more frequent than ever!
