Loot, League Bonuses and Trophy Offers <-- Discuss it HERE!

So sniping is dead, even if you find a TH out, and you snipe you only get 1.6% of the loot bonus which is insignificant.

They are strongly encouraging us to build bigger armies, well when you build bigger armies you look for greater reward, the bonus increase from 50% to 70% is not a large enough increase to pay for the bigger army. So everyone will begin hunting larger loot within the base. There are not many of those whales around for the taking. And even if you do manage to get 70% on a town hall 10, how many storage buildings did you take out ? With the loot spread out to the town hall too it will make it that much harder to take out all of the storages.

It is not going to be fun when this is released.

The increase in league bonuses is minimal. And, in order to enjoy the increase and actually obtain the full league bonus, you will more than likely have to use MORE resources to build a stronger army (thus negating the increase in the bonus). It would be less efficient to attack with this mindset.

This doesn't promote stronger attacks. Instead, it makes the league bonus less important than it was before (because less will likely be awarded), and the focus will be more so on the loot obtained from the base you're attacking.

Am I wrong with this assessment? This is what I took away from the changes.

Guys u get 80 pct of bonus on a 50 pct attack.

Exactly, attack to 50% using less than half then quit the raid. You get 80% of the loot bonus and leaves the poor sap you attacked without a shield. The games is getting better, they promise.

with todays sneak peek .. everyone will get a shield because players will try to get the league bonus on 70% or 50% which it is more than 60% for 14 h shield .. but if anyone fail min will destroy 30% by using full army

With any update loot will be bad for the first week or two as people return to the game to see the changes. Then it will go back to normal, if anything we might get a few more casual players with rushed bases to raid.

This whole update is ridicolous so far. This is barely Clash of Clans anymore. Might aswell change the name of the game
