It's only going to be enough at Titan 2 if you can collect enough league bonus to cover your troop training costs. As it stands, I spend 600K elixer to train premium troops for one battle at Titan 2. Recovering that as of now is only possible with TH snipes in between main battles to make up the difference. I prefer to do real battles at Titan 2 to progress, just wanna be able to afford it.

    Stars still the same?

Are stars still the same, or is that the same as before?

    Is it
    30% 1 star
    60% 2 stars
    100% 3 stars

    Or is it still
    Th=1star
    50%=1 star
    100%=1star

Because it will. Now, instead of a barch raid, you will be training golems, pekkas and dragons. A barch raid was a 20 minute training time. Dragons are 30 minutes each, golems and pekkas are 45 minutes. And on top of that, you can barch with no spells most of the time. Full on raids will use probably 3 or 4 spells......

So depending on what your raid mix is, yes it will take substantially longer to train armies. Also, those armies will cost a lot more.

I believe that one of the reasons lower leagues show more snipes is because the league bonus is hardly worth farming even for lower level players. (I sometimes pass on a lower league snipe while searching for fat loot, even though it's basically free money).

Whereas in masters and champ, snipes are hotly contested by pushers and farmers alike.

I rarely see a snipe in champs but almost every champ I see (including most of my clan) has TH out. Someone is sniping them.

edit: im in M3 right now. Just checked the first 20 bases in my league list - 15 had TH out, 5 had TH in (so far from 1 in 100).

Anybody want to post similar data for their league?
I am in Masters II. I checked the top 20 in my league. 16 were TH out. Only 4 had the TH in.

But why do you need to train those? Barch is still fine for attacking storage at lower th9 and below. After that use gibarch. The update doesn't change this.

I have done the entire gammit of attack strategies. Right now, I am doing AQ healer (TH9, level 27 AQ) because it is the most effective way to get DE.

gibarch, barch, all of it will change dramatically after the update. Why? Because loot bonuses are going away unless you penetrate bases and get at least 50%. This will affect all of the leagues where getting loot for winning is nice. Do you care about it in bronze, silver or gold? Probably not. But people in Crystal and up want the bonus. They are also supposed to make the bonus better for all leagues (face it.....silver 3's bonus sucks even for a TH5!).

The cheap armies don't have the ability to consistently penetrate to the juicy core of a decent base. They lack the punch.

SC seems intent on making it so that the only way to play the game after this update is to make an army that takes a lot of time to create. Any army that can be made quickly will no longer work well. (even my AQ healer is going bye bye) Why? Because if you can only attack once every 60 to 90 minutes, it is going to make spending gems to boost your barracks look very good.
