I'm in Master 3 right now and the bases with TH outside are Maybe 1 in 100 so good luck lol.

Probably, but just because you don't see them, doesnt mean they aren't there.

I believe that one of the reasons lower leagues show more snipes is because the league bonus is hardly worth farming even for lower level players. (I sometimes pass on a lower league snipe while searching for fat loot, even though it's basically free money).

Whereas in masters and champ, snipes are hotly contested by pushers and farmers alike.

I rarely see a snipe in champs but almost every champ I see (including most of my clan) has TH out. Someone is sniping them.

edit: im in M3 right now. Just checked the first 20 bases in my league list - 15 had TH out, 5 had TH in (so far from 1 in 100).

Anybody want to post similar data for their league?

In our clan 9 people are currently in Masters, 9/9 has TH out.

edit: Oh and all the players in crystals also has their TH outside

edit2: in golds too everyone has their TH outside, so in summary like 95% of players in our clan has their TH outside allways, exept the time when we are pushing.

Interesting thing is, players with more loot were much more likely to have their th out. Players with bad loot generally had their th in!

No change from current system. 50% without destroying th is one star. One star is a victory which means you will the bonus (but not all of it, as the size of the bonus depends on % destruction)

Don't have data, but can tell you that for my TH9 base in crystal and my TH10 base in masters, when I leave the THs in farming configuration, they are attacked within a minute or two of becoming available. I believe you are correct, TH snipes seem rare at higher levels because they are snapped up immediately.

Why couldn't SCell just do polls on the changes ?
Simply direct polling for all to see the poll results.

I cannot imagine a more stupid and pointless thing to do.

Apart from anything else, due to the inherent negativity of forum postings, almost any change they propose would get voted down.

SOmething I'm unsure of is loot bonus when getting TH, but not 50% of the base. Surely there will be available snipes the first week of the update. And there will be times people get 48% (for example) including the TH. How much of the loot bonus do you get then?

You will get about 1.6% of the bonus per % destruction from 1-50%, and 1% per % of destruction from 50-70%.

If you can't see any resources in the town hall, how do goblins know a town hall has loot? They chase resources upon visible loot, but attacking the town hall makes Goblin + EQ spells very dangerous.

The goblins don't see the loot AFAIK, they just see the resource building. They will quite happily destroy an empty collector first before moving on to the full storage next to it.

Also, for those of us with 1800 trophies will find it unfair to lose a lot of trophies against someone 3 or 4 leagues higher than you (far more skill the you.)

1. It is unlikely to happen any more than it does now (which is not much except at the high leagues - and it may happen less there due to no insta-shields.

2. Even when it does happen, trophy level says very little about teh skill level of the player.

No they aren't.

The fact you only see one per 100 nexts (which surprises me, I never go that many) is down to the fact that bases with TH out stay in matchmaking for anything from a few minutes to a few hours depending on how tough they are and how much loot they are offering, while those with TH in stay in matchmaking for 30 seconds at most.

Not surprising really. The main reason for putting TH out is to protect loot. If you haven't got much, you may as well keep it in.

Yes, because you will get a star for 50%. You will get 80% of the full bonus. But if you get 49% damage without destroying TH, you will get no bonus.
