Well New update is bad and give us more hard work and farming troops barb/arch will die ,,,, you have to use expensive troops with long training time. i hope they allow us using hero's in wars while they under upgrading at least will give us more fun in wars.
We need to start a petition on farming... After this update farming will be dead and i have spent my entire clash experiance farming.. Almost my entire clan farms and with this new update supercell is going to reward the players that dont farm.. The new shield system is the most ridiculous idea i have heard in my 3 years of playing clash.. I have spent money on this game and now supercell will not recieve another dime of my hard earned money after killing my love for the game..

I don't know what all differences the update will make for farming. I've always been a big farmer - how else are you not going to be, unless incredibly slow progress is okay with you, i.e. just using the resources from your collectors, or you buy resources with gems - which gets into the thousands of Dollars (or equivalent in other currencies) very fast?
Once figured it out - I think it was roughly $14,000 to buy walls up through level 11.
Some of the coming changes will be acceptable to a lot of players, some have even been requested.
The one thing I find unacceptable is getting kicked off after playing or 3 hours. How is this "encouraging players to attack more"?
Boost times for Barracks, etc., are 2 hours. At least let us play for 4 hours....
I can't believe supercell is doing this to us, I have been farming in my main account ever since I got to th6, now I am a th9 and I think there is no way to get past this without being nerfed by lvl 7 giants in masters, now I have to farm lower and that has not been giving me much loot, so I, and many others are left clueless of what to do
My mini is a th7 at the later stages and farming is so good now, if they disable the ability to set farming bases, then I will be nerfed by th8s and lose my loot

It is amazing how many people are jumping to conclusions about this update before they have played one minute of COC with it installed. On the surface, it does appear that it will impact farming but we really don't know that for a fact. Until we all play the update and see how the game mechanics have changed, we're really all just talking out of our butts.
Recommendation: tone down the vitriol, unwad the panties, and relax. When the update is released, play it seriously for a few weeks and then head back here to vent. Oh and since you know you are going to have to defend your TH, why not spend some time researching really good base designs as opposed to unloading in SC in this forum?
Bottom line...chill out and wait for the update.
You do realize that the majority of the people playing COC are TH 8's? These are guys who have been playing 6 months or more. Just how long do you think it takes to understand how farming works anyway? Just because you gemmed your way to TH 10 dosent make you a farming guru. I'll take the word of a TH 8 that worked for a year to get a maxed TH 8 naturally over a gemmed TH10 anyday.
Shards, I fully apologize. I went to your clan and visited your village. I can tell you are a worker not a Gemmer. You are working hard at a great looking TH8. I'm just a little sensitive and stressing over something I shouldn't be. Let's roll with the update and see what happens. If it ruins the game for use we can quit and move on. It's just a game. Clash on my friend.
Supercell dosen't like free shields. Farming is still possible however, it's just that now, we can't hide behind free shields anymore. SC gave us village guard, SC made it so loot is now in larger quantities and not just in little 200,000 max from storages loot. Which is great, You guys will adapt, as much as everyone says they're going to leave, they're really not going to. Some of you might remember this from a very LONG time ago. When SC released the global chat filter, adults that used the global chat (which was very plentiful back then) were FURIOUS. They threatened to quit the game, but they never did. They adapted, and learned that there was a very good reason supercell did that.
Supercell knows what they're doing, you have to remember that.
