Some questions / pov:
1) Quite curious what happens if some hardcore and rich player buys 7 day shield and tries a 3hour raiding session, would you get kicked out consistently until your shield expires (assuming you attacks don't burn the full 7 days out)?
2) Anyone below TH9 no matter how strong will get rekt by 1 TH higher there is no doubt. Suppose I am accumulating for something like an Xbow that is 7 mil and I have 5 million now and 400k fat loot waiting for people. Also assume I am less pro and raid for 150k per raid with some gowiwi or smth, and raiding 3 times (3 + 4 + 5 = 12hr) may break my shield. That leaves me on average net 50k every 3 hours, not counting army costs. I might as well sit out with my max collectors during the shield and get 3k x 6 collectors x 3 hours = 54k. Hence, it doesn't mean activity => Better loot. This also doesn't mean no activity => better loot.
tl:dr version of 2) More gold/elixir flowing between bases does not lead to more resources for everyone. That means its harder to upgrade.
3) As of this post, nothing, nothing at all screams fun / happiness to me. Is this still a game?
I am throwing in the towel if there is no additional incentive for defences won (like some loot / gems perhaps). After all, that seems to be the new "fun" factor if i may say.
- From a business perspective, I find it interesting how charging people for their "inactivity" will turn out (Perhaps players will really end up inactive!). It's never about the 10 gems, its the gems you spend when u can't farm reliably (either by attacking or collecting)
- From a programmer's perspective, I empathise with them for the effort they put in to put less smiles on the faces of people just because mouths need to fed.
Been playing since April 2014, 50% done with TH10. I have raided 6 hours in a row and have also not raided 6 days in a row, just collecting nowadays (because life). I hope that when all the sneak peaks are out, the game's learning curve is less steep than Dota 2.
Holy ♥♥♥♥. Can you see a brand new noob who just downloaded COC from the app store trying to figure all this out? Completes the tutorial, and then gets hit with this complicated mess? If people who have been playing for years are having this kind of trouble understanding this, how do you think a brand new noob will respond? Probably delete COC and find another game...
People are complaining about things they don't understand and assuming things they don't know. This is no longer a speculation thread!

Mostly inactive after leaving TH8, but I keep up the yard work (for gems!). Angry Neesons everywhere rejoice! Our time for satisfaction seems to be on the horizon!|REPORTING FORUM POSTS... [QUOTE=twister;5863631]Well, I kind of like this particular thread:

Been playing over 2 years now, hardcore war fanatic who farms to be better in war. Like this game, a lot, met some amazing people and most of our clan have been together over a year and a half. So, thanks supercell for giving us that......
As for these new sneak peeks....I can't help feeling you are changing the game for the worse for the normal player, I love the fact that different people can employ different styles of play to suit the indivdual, but now you are dictating how and when we should play, you are killing the spontaneity of the game and I don't want to think about how that's gonna affect the game we love. Your inability or refusal to deal with bunnies was one thing, but now you are handing the game to the gemmers/bunnies.
Not really happy about this, its almost like you are a money grabbing corporation who doesn't really care about the little people....too far?
I, like most of the people who play will try this new style of play but I fear you will lose the interest of the majority of people, and whilst all these trolls will rejoice in all the dead bases they can loot, remember that once we all go......its just bunnies...
I would say the community wants more players, not less.
"For example, say a player reaches their Personal Break 3-hour limit. They will get a 6-minute Personal Break timeout to give other players a chance to attack them. If 6 minutes goes by without a defense, the player can then come back online for 15 minutes protected by Village Guard (and attack as normal, if they like). Then comes another 6-minute Personal Break timeout. Say, this time, someone attacks them for 15% destruction and loses. As this is a weak attack, the player can again come back online for 15 minutes protected by Village Guard. The 3rd time they get the 6-minute Personal Break timeout, no matter what happens, they will get a full reset on their Personal Break 3-hour limit and a full automatic Village Guard (via the Mercy Rule).
These are some pretty detailed edge-cases that should not apply for most players. but need to be there just to make sure there are no loose-ends in the system."
TH11 | Walls: 250+ zap, rest lavas | AQ:45, BK:45, GW 20 | HH : 15+ mil
Th11 | AQ :36, BK:37, GW : 20
TH10 | AQ:26, BK:22
Most upcoming changes I can live with, but the Personal Break thing and village guard is ridiculously short. 3 hours means 2 attacks at th9, since the spells take a long time to make if you don't use gems, and finding a good base to attack in Champions III where I am now at certain hours of the day can easily take 20 to 30 minutes...
Also what other people have mentioned, before or during war I might be on for quite a few hours just to chat and prepare, and the change would force me to always have a shield up before going to war and prepare, as to not
use up Personal Break time..
All in all in is a restriction that takes fun out of playing!!
