I might be slow in the uptake, but if top level players can stay online always, how are they meant to be attacked?!

After 3 housr online you get forced offline for a few minutes enought to get attacked

Why does SC even want to change how shields work??.

There hasn't been a single complaint about shields or whatever.
It is just idiotic they bring in things we never wanted(shield changes) but never care about what we always wanted(upgrade heroes during war)

If SC wants us casual players not to play and only gemmers to thrive,they better make it a purchase app,not a free app

So basically Village Guard is like if shields were 15 minutes longer (unless you gem or play in Titans ofc)? If yes- wow what a feature!

Personal Break Times are so complicated I stopped reading midway but I don't care about them to be honest I hardly stay online for 3h anyway

Huh? Too complicated for a rather simple game.

This might make it too complicated for new players who join the game-forcing them to quit.All clashers started at level 1 ,this sounds really complicated for a level 1 doesn't it? Personally I'm adopting a wait and see policy but that doesn't mean I'll ever quit the game.Heck no!
