    A lot of people want the ability to turn off the cc. If we have a war attack to make and we lose our expensive and time costly troop it will cost some seriously big problems

    Th 9, BK 14 AQ 15, Skulls done with 210 Legos. Still working on the climb, struggling to make ends meet.

    I'm a normal adult and I don't even understand the changes, they appear far too complicated on first glance. It's complexity completely takes the fun out of the game.
    It's a shame because it was a truly awesome game.

    Yes and SC ignored the simple solutions opting to make all these complicated new rules that even those of us at Titan 2 and above can't figure them all out.

    Easy solutions?? For trophy pushers, just make the amount of trophies you can collect the same as the amount you can lose. Problem fixed. For the TH snipe, just make the TH snipe not give a shield and not give automatic bonus, Problem solved. Then boost the League bonus 2x across on all levels to offset the lose of TH snipe loot in the game, problem solved and most people would have been ok with all of this. The irony is none of the players complained about the TH snipe...lol

    Farmers, what do you think?

    TH outside with 30% of buildings. Leave storages behind walls with defense.

    1) attacker will attack TH and 30% of buildings to get a star and more % of league bonus. no shield for defender but loot is safe except for what was in TH.

    2) defender does not get a shield but can continue to raid and do the same to accumulate league bonus loot.

    3) when defender gets kicked because of PBT (even with little loot to grab) you will most likely get attacked 3 times right away for your TH because attacker will still get league bonus. Therefore, defender can log back on after a few mins for another 3 hour raiding session.

    4) if attacker does a full raid then you will get a shield and you can take a break from clash.

    5) when defender is reaching the 3hr mark queue up expensive troops in barracks so that after you get fully raided (and a shield) you can un-queue the troops to regain some of your losses.

    Best case scenario someone uses barch and expends half their troops in order to get TH and 30% of buildings, giving you a shield.

    key to a successful farm is to farm more than you will lose in 3 attacks on your TH and if majority of farmers participate to help each other out.


    ORRRRR farmers, just leave the TH outside and hopefully people will continue to snipe for league bonus even if it's not as much as before.

    No, you will not get a shield but I think getting your TH sniped is better than a full raid on your storages over and over again.

    Hopefully farming will still be alive after this new update.

    As I understand things, 30% destruction gets the defender a 12 hour shield, no?

    If the attacker only hits the TH, that can get pretty rough as far as loot lost - consider three such attacks in a row. TH3 - TH7 only have two Gold storages and two Elixir storages, so the TH will have 1/3 of the total of each that can be looted from storages (not to mention 1/4 of Dark Elixir storage - as it is for all THs). First attack takes that one-third. Next attack will be dealing with a little less available loot, but will still take 1/3 of it. Same for the third attack. The total lost will hurt.

    2) defender does not get a shield but can continue to raid and do the same to accumulate league bonus loot.
    The defender has already had his gaming interrupted by the 3 hour limit, let us say, and he doesn't get a shield during his 6 minute time-out. He then can play for another 15 minutes before getting kicked out again. Who can say that that does not suck, plain and simple? Not to mention that the tortuous cycle may not even be over without yet more time being kicked-off....

    3) when defender gets kicked because of PBT (even with little loot to grab) you will most likely get attacked 3 times right away for your TH because attacker will still get league bonus. Therefore, defender can log back on after a few mins for another 3 hour raiding session.
    TH alone gives very little of the league bonus (again, as I now understand it). The league bonus is now dependent on how much of the base the attacker destroys. It goes up to 100% of the bonus with 70% of the base destroyed. So, the TH alone would only get you the percentage of the base that the town hall accounts for, divided by 70, times the league bonus.

    4) if attacker does a full raid then you will get a shield and you can take a break from clash.
    I don't WANT to take a break. I'm raider/farmer. In the current period, I've got 1530 attacks, so about 70 per day. Farming is how you get a lot of resources to do stuff in the game, fast. Only other way is using gems to buy resources, which is a horrible use of them, not to mention very expensive in "real money" if that's where the gems come from.

    I want to play the game. I am not worried about anything in this update except the exceedingly silly 3 hour limit (especially silly since boost periods for barracks, etc., are 2 hours). Ugh...what were they thinking?

    Well yeah, you may save a little that way, but it really *is* only a little, in the grand scheme of things, and it's extra work - that queuing and unqueuing.

    Of course you want to farm more than is farmed from you. But that 12 hour shield will get burned up by 3 attacks, which is all of 10 to 20 minutes for me, then I'm back on the lame 3 hour clock and then facing getting kicked-off again. Sheesh....

    There will still be farming, or the game will be so severely and negatively impacted that they'll change something pretty fast, IMO.

    But as far as TH sniping for league bonus, that is really a thing of the past. Even if destroying 30% of the base, the attacker is getting less than 43% of the league bonus.

    I assume it will be like it is now (when you hit the current 6 hour limit). You first get a text notice on your screen, something to the effect of: "You have been playing too long, and your villagers need to take a break. You will soon be kicked offline."

    You have some time, I'm thinking like 5 minutes, to work on your village. Attacking is disabled once you get the first notice, but you can queue troops, spend resources on buildings or upgrades, etc.

    If you will be in danger of having the "personal break" kick in during a clan war, I'd say you should make sure it doesn't mess you up by planning ahead. Log off and get attacked - do what you need to do to start fresh with the 3 hour play time.

    Or - if you need to be playing the game for 2 hours for your clan war, 4 hours from now, for example, then playing for 3 hours now, followed by the up-to-48-minute delay/getting kicked off/back on cycle, should fix you right up - that 2 hours for clan war will fall right in your next 3 hour period. Fun, huh?

    Yeah, I've thought of that too, and I sure hope you are right. Personally, I do not think they will give us the ability to pause the boost. Seems ridiculous that they would not, but I've got a bad feeling about this....
