Sorry no time to donate as only have 3hrs to farm for upgrades

Didnt like being kicked after 6hrs so now its going to only 3 just makes it worse

Guess its time to start looking for a new game to play

Not looking forward to this update not seen anyone asking for this sort of update so SC aren't interested in listening to the people that play the game unless there can make money out of it

I use 2h boosts for my barracks, heroes and spells every time i loot. For huge upgrades like lv 25+ heros we need much de, so i used to loot at least 6h in a row using the boosts. Now with new update i don't see how i can collect this amount. so i boost 2h, then i cannot boost next 2h as i know that after 1h i will be kicked out, attacked and ripped off of the de i have just looted. I already pay to SC for my looting, why they want me to spend more on the guard or forse me to buy the missing de? I have my th out, so i see ppl snipe it helping them to get trophies and bonus and i save my loot most of the times. With new update no more shield, no more loot, nothing...

Mmmmm...I'm not so sure now...the original notes say 'a defence resulting in a shield' - so a TH snipe will be a defeat but not result in a shield so won't reset the PBT?

The personal break does not kick in after 3 hours playing COC.
The personal break time only kicks in after the shield is off. With the shield information from yesterday this means that you can attack several times whilst you are in shield and play for much longer than 3 hours. IF you chose not to attack because you are managing your war then the personal break could potentially only kick in after 15 hours earliest (12 hrs shield + 3 hours playing after the shield expires)

For those that are worries that you wont be attacked during the personal break: If everybody will put in their TH inside then there is a much higher change that you will be attacked (depending on how much loot you have to grab of course)

99% of the people that play clash wont be impacted as they wont play for more than 3 - 6 hours a day.

The personal break also is to ensure that you wont be in the clouds all the time as this would have happened with the shield changes. This is to avoid that.

Regards to the village guard is free for everyone and you don't need to pay for it, be happy about that. Yes the higher level players can buy more, but to be honest everyone can get this extension of 2 hours as it only costs 10 gems (you earn roughly 6 gems per day without counting the gemboxes)
The village guard this will help you to protect your base.

So I don't see why people are so angry! I think most are just confused.

QUESTIONS

There are no info's on what happens to VGtime if a player drops to a league where this time would be shorter. I believe there will be no effect, as the period gets awarded at the time of the attack and probably then stays unchanged. But what if the shield giving attack itself is what drops you to a league further down? And what about first defenses of a new season? (players are in no league until they have performed an attack!)

Holps, process is if TH outside;

1. After 3 hours online with no shield, you get kicked for 6 min
2. Get TH sniped, attacker wins 1 star get loot bonus, you get no shield
3. Allowed back on for 15 min to reset traps do whatever, then kicked for another 6 min
4. Get TH sniped, attacker wins 1 star get loot bonus, you get no shield
5. Allowed back on for 15 min to reset traps do whatever, then kicked for another 6 min
6. Get TH sniped, attacker wins 1 star get loot bonus, you get no shield but PBT time is reset, you good for another 3 hours.

I fell the same, i think, for High level farmers, there is only two way to reset the PCB

- Go offline 3H strait
- Accept the 3 Kick / 2 VG sequence, so: (3x6min) + (2x15min) = 48 minutes.

* Note: you can farm during the 2 VG times...
