Remember that army stategy with queen and healers behind? You can bring 8 healers before you reach the 50% army, enough to cause significant damage to a TH 8, stealing lots of his loot or even getting the 3 star.
In conclusion:
You don't need 50% of your army to get massive amounts of cups and loot.
Please change it, that you will get a shild, when the attacker got 60% (regardless of troops deployed) or when more that 50% of his loot got stolen. This would make it fair for lower players, because the matchmaking will allways show you opponents, which are one Town Hall level off than yours.
