    50% army composition is enough to get most of the loot

    Let's imagine a TH 7 finds a TH 6. The TH 7 can store 220 troops (200 in camps, 20 in castle) He has no king yet.

    5 Dragons + 2 Wizards + 1 Archer is less than 50% of my storage, but enough to 3 star any TH 6. There might be a insane loot availble, you get 3 stared, loosing cups, and get no shild

    Remember that army stategy with queen and healers behind? You can bring 8 healers before you reach the 50% army, enough to cause significant damage to a TH 8, stealing lots of his loot or even getting the 3 star.

    In conclusion:

    You don't need 50% of your army to get massive amounts of cups and loot.

    Please change it, that you will get a shild, when the attacker got 60% (regardless of troops deployed) or when more that 50% of his loot got stolen. This would make it fair for lower players, because the matchmaking will allways show you opponents, which are one Town Hall level off than yours.

    Huh? You already get a shield if the attacker destroys 40% of your base even if they lose.

    Now, they could change it to % of total loot available rather than % of the base, but I'm guessing the reason they do it this way is that this tends to work out better for active players, who may have a lot of loot in their storages but generally don't have that much in their collectors and mines when they get attacked. Given that most of these players set up their bases so you have to destroy mines, collectors, and non resource buildings before getting to their resources, attackers can sometimes take out 40% of the base while getting very little of the available loot

    If it were based on loot taken on the other hand, you'd be giving more shields to dead bases whose mines and collectors can be taken out without doing 40% damage, which wouldn't matter to them since they're not playing anyway, but be bad for everyone else.


    And yes, bigger guys pick on smaller guys, that's how the game works, but you can't really weaken the bigger armies or they won't be able to take on players on their own level, which is really the end goal. So I'm not sure what point you're trying to make or problem you're trying to solve.
