Do I pump the red haired Valkyrie or the stone cold Golem with DE?

As a TH8 I have 2 options. Level 2 Valks or level 2 Golems. I imagine general consensus is to go for the stone cold killer but I don't see my self using golems anytime soon and I know Valks can be good as CC troops so from this perspective I'm still leaning towards the Valks. What does the elite say?

You *will* need Golems, but you *may* need Valkyrie, so I'd say upgrade golems first; if you got spare DE upgrade the redheades as well

I always upgrade the troop I use most and then work my way down to least used. That said Golems will be very important for wars the higher you climb in TH lvl expecially if you are a ground attacker.

There is a Valk thread if you don't have a lot of experience with these red headed devils - they can be difficult to manage.

aside from Nio and Hafid, it would be hard to find someone who loves valks more than me. But golems are just too damn important...

I did valks first for this reason... Then needed to goho in war

If you're planning on maxing everything then it's not too big a problem since you'll want both for the fun strategies coming out of \/alhalla

Same dilemna on my baby th8....ended up doing the golems first just due to price. I like getting the more expensive things out of the way. And that title is total click bait...

I'd say golems as you can't use valks without golems in a majority of cases.

Both are essential upgrades, IMO, why does it need to be either/or?

Am undecided as to which I'd upgrade first in your position, but very possibly valks as golems hold up quite well against TH8 defs, even at lvl 1.
