    150% Agree with this

So please add a yellow "neutral" option, allowing leaders to much more easily manage their war roster by adding 1-2 or removing 1-2 of these each war. Would help us all hit that search button sooner.

Edit for clarification as discussed within the topic: When searching for war only those listed as green will automatically be opted in, just as the current system does. Both yellow & red users will need to be manually added by the leader or co-leader starting war. With yellow it makes the choice of who to top up for a war much easier.

I would agree with this. There are many clan members who said they are in if you need me. This would be that solution.

I like this idea, but only if the neutral sign is actually neutral (grey, that is. yellow... ugh)
Not a bad idea with grey, that is indeed a neutral looking colour.

Just again now our clan has 5 maybe members.

One brand new TH8, worried about their newer match ups as troops are not up, but happy to help.
One with a busy weekend but can find time to help if needed.
    Two upgrading Dark Spell Factory.
One with BK upgrading, will gem last 36 hrs if needed.

A neutral option would make life much easier!

Great to see a lot of support, keep pushing for it and it just might happen.

    similar idea

Have a default opt out after each war. Those who want to be in war can opt back in. Or allow the leader to opt a player out until they choose the opt in again.

I like this idea, I think it would help quite a lot with deciding who will go in wars and similar.
I have actually been in this position a few times, were I could war if I had to, or want to war but queen is down. But didn't want to change war opt to green in case I took some one able to 3 stars place.

    Love This Idea!

I am often sometimes upgrading a hero and sit war out every now and then but have no problem warring with a hero down.

This is a perfect way to designate something like this!

I think this is a great idea! Allow leadership to select green "I'm in" players first and then add yellow "neutral" players if they don't have a multiple of 5 opted in.

I honestly can't see any way it would benefit most clans which are made of casual players.

Love the idea of a Yellow Optional Opt in/out button!

I am a leader of a war clan. In my opinion the clan war opt out button was the best update ever made. I would absolutely love it if supercell would consider adding a yellow optional opt in/out button.

Every war starter knows that there are almost never exactly 45/40/35/etc people opted in and when there are 39 people opted in then I have to choose 4 additional people to opt out and I don't know how they are going to feel about it or if they are going to get upset about being left out. It would be a big help if members were able to indicate in their profile that they were flexible for that war by changing their status. For example, maybe they are traveling and could get their attacks in if they needed to but would prefer to opt out if there were extras. Or maybe a th8 is going for the level 3 pekka upgrade which means they have to max all elixir storages and this is hard to balance with the cost of troops for war attacks but they still want to be a team-player and opt in to the war if we come up short.
