    Clan war ideas

    I have some ideas to make wars shorter. 1. Shorten the preparation day time or maybe put that everyone can vote to skip the preparation day. 2. Give clans the option to give up.

    Start war faster: The preparation day is crucial to the war day and for you to be best prepared for the war. It is the time you set the strategy, choose your opponent (who you attack from the map), donate troops to the castles, change base layouts if necessary, analyse the opponent's bases, etc etc.

    This would also unbalance the war day a lot. When a clan starts the war and when I agree to participate in the war starting that day, I agree with the time of the war too. This option of choosing when to start the war might make it hard for some clan members to do their attacks on time, because instead of the war starting at 9PM.. it will start at 4AM. Imagine that one clan accepts to start faster.. well, the other clan would accept as well only when it suits them so that hour might not suit the clan who first accepted. In this situation, I might be forced to rush my attacks or attack from work or from school, depending on the activities I have that day.

    Also, this might make people skip the wars, since as a player, I might make my schedule based on what I know of the war day.. so I might not login in the morning knowing I have no war then.. while in fact, the war started over night. In this case, when I come back from the work/school, I would find myself with some hours left from the war, my targets attacked, having to complete the attacks on some tough unwanted bases.. all in all, a mess.

    Also, since the addition of the clan perks and clan levels, I don't think SuperCell intends to allow us to fight wars any faster than we currently do.

    It is best to keep it the way it is now in my opinion, for all the reasons I presented above.

    Forfeit war:
    A forfeit or end war option wouldn't be fair for the winning clan, neither for some members of the losing team.

    For once, what if I am part of the winning team but I didn't use 1 or any of my attacks in war? Would it be fair if the losing team could end the battle while I didn't have a chance to do my attacks and take my war bonus? If you are the losing team, I think you should just face it and accept the situation, not run away. We are only talking about 24h of war time, it's not that much to wait.

    Second, even if you are in the losing team, you are part of that war and you should take advantage of it. How? Well, you could practice attacks on tougher bases or even let the war go just so the winning team shows more impressive attacks from which you can learn. Any failure is a win, so learn from the mistakes done in that war and take the war time to analyse them.

    People go in the war knowing they have a 24h period to do their attacks, so nobody can force them to do their attacks in the first 20. If they decide to leave their attacks for the last second even if the war is already lost/won, it is entirely up to them and they should have that privilege.

    Also, since the clan perks update, I doubt SC intends to let us finish war any faster than we normally do.
