    Pekkas in cc

With the introduction of poison you only ever see strong troops in cc and after watching countless replays I'm realizing hounds aren't that amazing at distraction as everyone makes them out to be on defence, it's already obvious golems are bad as well as giants but what about pekkas? Obviously not for those with 25 cc space but perhaps 30 or 35? With an extra 10 troop space after the pekka surely there must be some decent combos if you make a base with hard to lure cc many people will opt to just charge in, the pekka will go for the golems and deal a good amount of damage before dying to wizards. So I ask, has anyone tried this and if you have, any success?

Someone did try in my clan but the pekka got killed really fast by other lvl5 pekkas under rage. Using goblins/archers or a mix of them depending on the base is still working in some cases

I lurv pekka in the cc. The best is queen walk, pekka just walks right up to her and BAM.

But I still prefer a dragon, as it's only targetted by range so can deal quite a significant amount of damage to more troops, given more time to do it. It's splash is great too.

I would say though I don't feel there is 1 good troop to use. They're all good at something.

I've always thought the dragon was bad on defence, everyone knows how to deal with them, they don't do much to golems under heal, I guess I've had some decent success when someone's wizards went the wrong way leaving archers to kill it slowly while it hits golems but that rarely happens, ive also been a victim of pekka in the cc during queen walk, sure surprised the heck out of me when my queen suddenly died!

The worst thing you could put in a DEFENSIVE CC is probably a Pekka. Might as well fill it with goblins.

Pekkas does high damage but its slow movement is a major disappointment. It comes out of cc and till it use its sword attacking troops would have advanced forward(if it is targeting defenses) and other troops from behind like wizards would easily kill it.So pekka in cc is not a good idea in my opinion.

I don't know how many of my Superqueens have been spoiled by Pekkas in CC,

Maybe it's just me but practically all the attacks on my war base recently were exactly the same
Spawn golems, spawn wizards, spawn pekkas/witches, place poison on approaching cc, rage/heal, get 2 stars, no matter what I put in my cc the results were the same because the cc was filled with a dragon which got shot down before it could get even a second attack off, or balloons and a few other things which didn't do anything noticeable because their speed was slowed along with their attacking speed rendering them useless so I wondered if a pekka would do more damage to the golems before they died

IMO. The only troops that really help in CC is either dragon or witches. The skeletons the witches summons can distract troops for some time. Dragons are hit or miss, sometimes they can take down a golem depending on how the attacker reacts.

it is useful when the attacker didn't lure out the cc troops . But it is bad when the attacker lure out the cc troops and he can use just couple of minions or barch to take her out very quickly .So whether it is good or not it's depends ,don't have the exact answer.👍🏼
