Depending on where I am in trophies, getting a shield for war can be difficult. Sometimes even in gold I can sit for hours and hours never getting hit, even with my TH exposed. I'd gladly pay 10 gems for a 1 hour shield so I can make my war CC request and not have to worry about losing my golem or lava hound before I can make my war attack. Could still give it a one week cool down, so it doesn't get abused. It's not every war I'm caught without a shield, but it happens and this is an easy remedy.
