zapquake vs more rage and poison (th 8 mass dragon)

so ive been using the zapquake strat with mass dragon, at the start i was doing fine with 3 stars but now my dragons have been avoiding the 2nd ad like the plague and ive kept ending up with 2 stars. do you guys have any tips/tricks to know which is better on certain base designs or exact rage placement for zapquake? ive seen the enemies using 3 rage and it seems like its working better but i think thats because of my ad placement as well. if anyone can tell me what type of ad placement i should use for either strat because im unsure and need a better understanding of th 8 base design attacks (i generally play a th 10, never warred as a th 8 until now on my mini)
there are rules to rushing, not like i will tell any of you because you won't listen

I assume you're using CC max loons?

It all seems to be about what kind of funnel you think you'll get on a specific base. I can't really explicitly state it, but generally if you can go straight on vs 2 AD's I'd def do the zap quake. If you don't feel comfortable with the base, then you'd want to go with 3 rages. I'd actually go 3 rage/1EQ instead of a poison cause you can often slam the earthquake down on a bunch of high XP buildings and benefit from it. How many times have you seen dragons almost kill the TH...maybe get it 90% down? I feel like that happens a lot, and 1 EQ on the TH would help a ton.

Typically all ADs close together are best tackled with rage and spread out ones with zapquake. In practice it's a little harder tuhan that, because it all depends on the funneling possibilities and of the place of the CC and the sweeper.

Thanks for the awesome sig Alex!

Yeah it does depend on the base. With my TH8 I try to head the drag towards cc and one ad and then get the cc loons as close as I can to the second ad once it starts targeting drag.

Instead Of wasting time with dragons or gowipe.... Use surgical hogs and you wont have to worry about the enemy's base design or even worry about double giant bombs.
Learn fast surgical deployment and correct heal placement and there wont be a maxed th 8 that would survive.. All the top war clans with their th 8 only use hogs, 3 stars is always a guarantee
