There are many events when all air defence is down and lava hound is not burst and you miss out the 100% destruction of opponent. I like to see an update where attacker can have option to burst the lava into pups in order to clean up the remaining base during the battle.
Thats part of the fun. Working out how many hounds you need for the air def to pop them. Keep it how it is imo.

This would reduce the amount of strategy needed to three star a base because it requires creating a just right zone.
