TH 8 HOGS! 3 STAR ATTACK FOR CLAN WAR. by Cast n' Blast

Hey guys, I have been featuring my channel for months now demonstrating how to 3 star any TH9 in war using multiple methods. Until now I have mainly been focusing on TH9's only since my account is a TH9 and that is all i attack in war. I have received messages for months now from viewers and my clan mates asking if i could help with th8's. I decided TH8's do not have many resources even though they comprise a large number of players. Commonly in war low TH9's have to dip and take out many th8's for 3 stars. Well I wanted to fix this problem and teach th8's that you can hog just as easy if not easier than a TH9 and do your part for 6 star wars.

I made a video teaching all about using Hogs at TH8. I show you how to draw the cc, how to kill the cc using minimal troops, and how to deploy your hogs and heals to maximize the attack. I will be posting more th8 hog videos in the future. I hope this becomes a big part in my channel moving forward in order to help all players of all levels.

This is the first video in a long future series. It will get you started and teach you everything to go out and perform right away.

If you're going to put all this effort into tutorial videos at TH8, I'd rather see it against maxed bases to know that your hogs have enough power to clear any TH8 base.

Also, I disagree with the premise that bunching your hogs is a "waste of DPS". If you can keep them bunched in two groups and keep them under heal spells the entire time, they'll still be doing a lot of dps and the dps in/dps out ratio (the one that matters) will shift further into your favor. But that's base dependent.

Also, the second one is a one star if the defender actually had a double bomb...

If bunching up hogs works for you then by all means keep with what works for you. The first base had a double bomb set and the second base had two bombs with overlapping radius off-set. I used that in my favor. That is what smart base planning is all about.

Wasted DPS is wasted DPS only if 1. the 3 minute clock is a factor, or 2. You're taking damage. If you can avoid taking any damage and the clock isn't a factor, you're getting essentially free damage in exchange for nothing if you can group them up (assuming, of course, that you map out your heals and pathing ahead of time) to keep your hogs under heal spell 100% of the time.

As for the second base, that is only an acceptable plan if you know it's an offset, and any competent attacker wouldn't risk that on a first attack because any competent defender would have placed his giant bombs correctly in the first place.

And don't get me wrong, I nit pick everything to debate the finer points of attacking, it was a much higher quality video than we normally see in here (the fact that you didn't get the "go post this in the youtuber's corner" is a huge honor)

Yes it's possible with lower lvl hogs, is it worth it in war, not really unless the base has already been hit and.you know where all the gb's are.

Surgical hogs are the only way to go.

Level 4 hogs are required.

Thx, I tried it, was doing ok until I dropped heals instead of wizards...lol...need a lot more practice with this attack things can wrong in a hurry.
