Yes, I completely agree, I see no reason why this shouldn't be added.
Idea: Maybe add a second button that selects same wall type, and leave the original button that grabs all walls in that row.

Just like there is a " Select row" button , there must be a "Same level " button , this will make it easy and more useful in every scenario !

This is an issue only for lower level walls, as soon as you start upgrading lvl 9,10,11 you wont be able to upgrade whole rows of walls =P they'll become to expensive
But i think this feature would help many people alot though, so yeah i support this.
