TH8 attack strategies.

If you're taking minions or heal spells with your dragloons you're doing it wrong.. Get your lightning to level 5 and zapquake an AD then use the rage to get your loons in quickly. Your ideas aren't nearly good enough to try and reinvent the wheel of what other people are doing well.

But get your hogs to level 4 ASAP.

So dragloonion isn't a thing? And yeah gotta get to them hogs I did mainly all hog or all drag raids at th7....

Any strats in particular you'd suggest how does a good goho set up work? And are there any good strategies that use the valk?

GOVALOs can work.. no need to GOHO at TH8 because there's no queen to kill. 35 level 4 hogs, 5 CC hogs, 6 wizards, and an archer. Pull CC corner to kill it, poison it, drop king, kill CC with wizards, drop 40 hogs in front of CC drop point. Should have all 6 wizards beginning clean up and live, a king at nearly full health, and 40 hogs to heal wrecking the base. Best 3 star bet at TH8 there is.

Lol kids these days. Lightning spell upgrade started today. 4 days until I'm a 3 star specialist... Again. Piece of advice. Dont go to th9 if you cant 3 star any th8 base. And dont go to th10 until you can 3 star any th9

Main account max th9 Dragonborn
Second account new th8 The Calvary. End goal to Max th9 and donate max troops to myself(and my Clanmates) to practice war attacks max golems hounds ect
3rd account rushed th8(no walls, if someone has a good no walls base I could use id appreciate it). Da Real Noriega. End goal to Max th8 to donate things like max hogs/loons/wizzies to my clanmates and to serve as a guide to how noobs can 3 star ANY th8 with a variety of attacks mainly revised(and totally op)dragloon. Currently sitting in a feeder clan as leader and makes occasional visits when main account is upgrading queen and out of war.
I don't know how to post videos nor do i care to but I'm more than happy to let you into my clan to see out replays from "the calvary on the top th8s on war map. For 5+ wars. If it'll make u feel better ill even go in blind since reallly the attack is foolproof to anyone who knows what they're doing of course after my lightning spell maxes in less than 4 days

Well this is dissapointing..

I just turned th8 a few days ago

and heading straight for valks n golem then pekka while I slowly upgrade hogs and new de drill.

I didnt plan to upgrade labs to level up dragloon until after I get golem/valk/pekka.

I thought a pack of valks funneled into core with a pekka in my cc and 1rage/2 heal until I get pekka and lvl up hogs/dragloon was a good strategy..

Long story short, wanted to gowiva first, then gowipe, then upgrade labs to upgrade dragloon while i slowly level up hog with de.

Am I doing it wrong?

I think you are doing okay tbh.... rn im just looking for areas I can clear with minions and archers on the outside of a base, then dropping like 5 pekkas and praying they go center lol

Gotta get my lightning spell upgraded so I can drag raid with zapquake.... from what I gather thats the best early strategy

I have a lot of experience with th8 warfare (went through th9 on one account currently have a th8) the best strategy at th8 is unquestionably hogs and goho (golems and hogs) though it might take a little bit of time getting your higs and golems up. From a war standpoint your first upgrade should be dragons so you can take out lower th8s and then get to work farming for your hogs if you have enough de always upgrade your hogs if not loons to help with drag loons and whatever farming troops you use you should also upgrade. Surgical hogs, screw all the dragaloon nonsense, gowipe is a 2 star atk 90% of the time, hogs are probably the best way to go for war at th8, it may take a while to get them to lvl 4 but well worth it.

Yes, you're doing it wrong. Max your dragons, then max your hogs/wizards.
