Again, attack varies by base, but DragLoon is most consistent, whereas hogs fail frequently. I have seen (and used) many bases with DGBs. Kinda surprised that you guys are saying you haven't!

It's not the most consistent. Anyone can say how a th8 should be draglooned, but against a max 8 with a competent defense the dragons will run out of power and you're getting two stars. Hogs run into that problem at a much higher threshold.

Im working both jobs today so chances are i wont be the first to attack just literally called in to the first one I was only expecting to work one today but yea I can record it going in blind(might wait ro end of war to 3 star them again(we usually have all th8s and lowered and half+ of the th9s 3 starred in the first few hours

You're responding to the wrong person who thinks they're the best player in the game. I just realize that you can't expect to 3 star bases, no matter how talented you claim to be, if you neglect your war troop upgrades.

Also, if you care much about your minion levels, you're probably loonioning wrong. Minions should not be placed until after the defenses are all dead.

sorry, but I strongly disagree. I've never used loonion in war trying to get 3, but I have raided with it plenty starting th8 and through th10 with max minions. minion level matters a good amount, and loonion works best when the minions are right behind the loons, helping kill d and everything else.

Which means that they get killed by air bombs, or placed improperly late.. I've seen more attacks go south because of this than times I wish my minions were right there.

Or maybe I'm cheap and drop the minions selectively where I actually have to.

Not this madness again, let's see your replays of threeing ANY TH8 base. Sure, they're strong against low to mid TH8s, but grow weak against 6/6/6 ADs with smart layouts. And then you say you use level 3 hogs in your hog attacks and not worry about maxing them? There is so much bad information in this thread it isn't funny, level 3 hogs don't have the hp to withstand giant bombs while under fire while level 4 hogs do.

That's not what I said. Of course level 4 hogs are better than level 3, thats kinda the whole point?
But I use level 3 hogs, and I can three star. I can also three star most TH8 bases with dragons. Ive said this already, if you read the my other post that you conveniently didnt reply to (seems legit), some attacks are stronger on some bases, but that doesnt mean the other attacks are weak. You're saying that you cant three star any TH8 base with dragons, well maybe you just dont have the skill

I can't record my tablet that I use for Clash, I don't have a capture card, or recording software. But you can simply search "TH8 Dragon 3 Star" and you will find videos from others.

Also, I, for one, would be delighted to see a series of consecutive attacks, showing that you [anyone] can 3* max TH8 bases using dragons and lightning, as advertised in this thread.

One fool in this thread represented that he was 3* max TH8 bases at a 95% rate using just lightning for Christ's sake...

But you can simply search "TH8 Dragon 3 Star" and you will find videos from others.

Insofar as that one is concerned, I have numerous thoughts, but I will reserve many I have.

One that jumps out, however, is that even the author even states, "Learn Hogon or Dragrider (dragon hog rider) and BDL (Mass Dragon with Backdoor Loons), two very effect attack strategies to use to 3 star with dragons now that the air sweeper is making dragon attacks very difficult to do."

Further, not many of those attacks use lightning...I think I saw all of one.

From time to time, based on the base we are facing, we can roll out some drag/hog attacks and they work quite well. I, for one, am not saying that it never works, nor that it isn't an army composition that might be justified.

My point, which it has been in the beginning, is no way does someone 3* at a 95% rate using dragons and lightning against max (non-wall) defense TH8s.

And if someone says otherwise, my response is simple: PROVE IT.
