    like the idea.

although: to test a certain layout, u might wanna do a 15-20 battles with diffrent kind of strategies and troops. This costs alot of time and rescourses. Especially if u want to test your base layout against high lvl troops.

    my suggestions:
    1. player goes into a special "mode" where he can attack himself and friends. In this mode he can choose:
    - buy troops instant full price
    - buy troops with normal waiting time (cost 25% of normal).

    2. Player can put a reward for killing his townhall. 25k gold + elixer.
Nobody gets rich of this, but it covers some costs. especially for lower lvl players.

I think it works both ways, for attacking and defending. You either want to test ur base or want to test ur attack strategy. Either way, you're doing it to prepare you for PvP. After you're satisfied with it, you'll test it out against a real player.

I really don't understand this thread, wouldn't it be easier if Supercell added a test base or demo base (call it as you wish) so that you can build it according to your game stats and practice on that?

I have played a few games where rather than implementing a complete sandbox/simulator area within the game, the company releases a simulator on a website that lets you do tests and such outside of the game.

It would be really cool if you could somehow import your in-game base to a web-simulator then pick whatever troops you want to attack it and watch how it goes.

I don't think the OP intended for this to be a sandbox for people to play around in. The intent is to have the feature incorporated. I've been on chat with clan mates many times and someone says, "checkout my base, is it good?". This is a feature that will let you demonstrate your actual evaluation of the base. Granted that your idea of the sandbox fulfills the same notion, but it becomes separate from the game. Having it incorporated will keep players logged in.

That's fair enough as long as Supercells addresses this request.

I would love a third option to attack besides multi-player and single player campaign. There are several ideas floating around similar in nature from a dueling arena/challenge area - ways to attack your own base, a simulator/sandbox to test different base designs (not necessarily your own or anyone else's), to inter-clan battles, etc. The ideas vary from with trophies, without trophies, lose troops, keep troops, lose/keep resources, etc. I hope down the road, they implement one of those ideas or one not thought of yet but similar. Rauta has mentioned a few times that they are coming close on size/memory of the game to support older devices, so I'm not sure how much more they can add in-game before it effects older devices. The offline approach could be a solution, but who knows. I like all the ideas in this thought pattern though.

I can assure you they read almost all of the threads, as well as get reports on top trends and such. Rauta said in his sticky they can't reply to them all, but this does have multiple requests now.

I love the sandbox idea. I didn't think of that. It reminds me of the Sandbox feature in Bad Piggies. Supercell could release it as a separate app too. Imagine how much you could hone your skills with something like that.

I was thinking of something like this the other day, and I agree that the best way to do it is to setup a "Simulation Mode". So instead of attacking a friend, you attack yourself. The reason behind this is to test your defenses, your trap placements, etc...

You could enter a simulation mode, choose any troops you want (based on a realistic troop count), and attack yourself just as if you were attacking another player. At the end of the match, you lose nothing and you gain nothing (except knowledge).

    • The person whose village is attacked does not receive a "You are under an attack" message, so they can still operate as usual.
    • The attack and replay shows up in the battle log.
    • No resources are lost from the attack.
    • No trophies are won or lost from either party.
    • The attacker does not get troops, spells, or elixir refunded.
    • Attacking your own village or other clan members does not disable or activate shield.
    • So you can turn these on and off, you must buy a clan "Target" flag from the store. You can only be attacked when the flag is up. Or, just put it in the options screen.
Their is an app which need jailbroken and rooted device which do exactly same as your request so I didn't think supercell will add this feature in new update.
