    There is already a healer stacking penalty on heroes and healers arent op unless your AD placement is bad

    Do similar to most of attack strategy, agree completely that timing and placement of spells is key and definitely takes skill. Like ideas on way to funnel them inside, again, appreciate the help. When wining big in clan wars is a good time to practice different techniques against higher TH to see what I can get away with.

    What ended up being the cause of it were 2 principles:
    1) I didnt trophy drop to farm. I was hanging out in Crystal 3.
    2) I wasnt targetting my upgrades efficiently. I always thought the th sniped shield was a weird way to play a strategy game, but exposing your th was the easiest way to progress through upgrades. When I would trophy push, I would obviously pull my th in, but the other thing I learned early on is that you cant protect all 3 resources at once so you shouldnt try to store mass quantities of them at once. If you are loaded up on all 3 resources, a skilled attacker is going to find a way to take what he wants, regardless of your defenses. At the time I hit th9, I was in a lazy mode where I was relying on the free shields to keep me safe from harm.

    So, I finally got fed up and burned all of my gold and elixir on walls and troops to make sure that I was the one that got to spend them instead of somebody else, I made sure to move all of my de buiodings to the core, and I dropped into Silver 1. Thats when i was able to take a breath and get into the groove of th9. I floated between silver 3 and crystal 1 for a few months and now -as i said- I've been sittijg in Masters 3 with no shield and havent been attacked for 3 days (almost 4 now)

    The reason I havent been attacked is that my defenses are somewhat stout and I am not keeping any resources in storage. I buy and sell gold decorations to burn mass quantities of gold and I am using an all dragon army while my heroes sleep to burn elixir. My de is back up to 20k after spending 130k on hero upgrades and I'm expecting to be moving into a range where attackers think it is worthwhile to risk an attack pretty soon.

    But by then, I'll have my queen and king back.

    The thing I really dont like is that there are quite a few "Thats OP" threads related to queen walking and it really is not. Its pretty darn hard to get everything to align properly, but when it all does, it will *look* really, really easy.
    How are you in masters and no one has attacked you, especially why not a th7 or 8. It would seem super easy to 1 star you with no queen.

    It would not be fair! We town hall 9's have only one way to get up to champs and masters that too very hard. We have to go for healer archer queen attcks on th10 bases. Patching it would be really unfair!!

    I cant answer why other people havent attacked me. I haven't even been tapped by a trophy dropper.

    I suspect that the amount of resources that i am currently leaving to sit are not worth an attack against me. There are plenty of bad bases in Masters and I guess people are just preferring to use their armies on those rather than waste them trying to defeat mine

    (King is awake but queen still has 11hrs left. Still havent been attacked)

    So, since I made mention in several of my replies here how I had been unshielded and unattacked for several days in Masters 3, I thought it only fitting to say that I was attacked this morning before I could clear my collectors (my wife and I were preoccupied with better things than a game)

    Ironically, my first defense in 4+ days was against a queen walk. He got 40% and couldnt take my core.
    Without showing a screenshot of my base (I dont want it being copied en masse as an anti-qw base) I can provide a brief description of the action.
    His army was 5 max healers, Level 10 queen, 52 L5 archers, 10 L6 giants, 10 L5 wbs, 4 L5 hogs, 4 L5 minions, 3 max rage, 1 max quake.

    I had 28 max archers in my castle along with a max wallbreaker.
    He started his attack from the northwest with queen and all 5 healers. Two outbuildings straight ahead, none to left, and segeral wrapping around the northmost corner towards the right. Took the 2 out then engaged my level 16 queen with his queen. Raged the healers and queen once to defeat her and my exterior archer tower. Then dropped wallbreakers and obviously expected them to move towards the wall immediately in front of queen but they didnt. They tracked southwest and broke into a cell that is backed by level 9 walls. He dropped 2 more and they did the same thing breaking a different corner of the same cell, but this time breaking into my inner hall at same time. Released giants towards this hole but they move down into cell to attack wiz tower which is closer. My 3 frontside L7 teslas popped and started frying them. (This is directly in front of my de store) southern and western defenses point in and helping kill giants. 3 get away from teslas but they track northeast around the core rather than attacking inward. All Hogs are released behind giants and he rages them over teslas. They pass over 1 gb which helps the teslas fry them with a single blast per hog. They destroyed the outer tesla but that was it. Wallbreakers were released while defenses were distracted and blew a hole in the wall to the inner keep directly in front of de store (all wbs are now gone) Attacker used quake with the wbs to ensure that the inner wall fell.

    Archers get released from initial entry point and bee line for outer gold storage before heading into base to take out de store. Queen has moved into a pocket to the north and is at full health. Giants track directly across her through a chokepoint I have set up and healers latch on to them, abandoning the queen. They track with the giants and fly into ad range. Queen hits cloak early to save healers. She takes out air defense under cloak then my 2 xbows and 2 remaining frontside teslas shred her in about 3 seconds after she comes out of it. She took down 1 of the teslas just before falling.

    Archers spill into the core to try and take out the th but remaining frontside tesla zaps most of them like a bug zapper before they ever fire a shot. About 20 archers wrap around north side of core and move into range of my 4th tesla (L6) that is set up to defend the weak side. Zap zap zap.

    All this time, the 3 giants that escaped front teslas have been bashing away at a L9 wall to attack a wizard tower. They break through the wall and get the wiz tower. Wiz tower gets 1 splash and takes out about 10 archers just before giants get it. They then spend time breaking through another L9 wall to go after an archer tower due to giant pathing rules.

    All in all, he got 40%, never fired a shot on my th and took:
    9008 gold, 76280 elixir, 2042 dark elixir.

    When i logged in, I collected 448 de from cart and 1800 from my 2 L6 de drills.
    I got a 14hr shield from it.
