Try to get motors high then go to cannons or wizard from there archers ! it will help alot

I ran a poll a while back, i think the consensus was lab.
Howerver, i just realized that if you jump from say 7 to 9, then you still need to upgrade troops so after you get to 9, lab wouldn't be the most important.
Top 3 for me are.
*Laboratory
*Clan Castle
*Mortars
Seeing your base or having more info about its status or your play style would help a lot.
Anyway, if you're an active farmer, lab then army camps.
If you're passive and get most of your loot from collectors, do collectors/mines and splash defenses.
It all depends on your playing style and comfort... if you plan on developing/farming, protect your resources with mortars, wiz tower, archers, cannons, and air defense.
