I disagree with this. It is only (at very, very most) 16 buttons. Just zoom out and click them all.
Now, you may ask, "Why do they have the option to refill all of your defenses at once?"
Here is the answer. They want you to be able to know who much E/DE you are spending, so it is easier to manage your total of each resource. With collecting, there is no danger. You can manage your total by seeing what your total is afterwards.
