Basically this game you need to raid to gain money and elixir.
If you want no one to attack you , you going to have a hard time lateron especially in upgrading.
Without any raid it would not be called Clash of Clans

I don't see the point to playing this game without attacking. It won't be as gratifying you know. The joy of getting upto 300k gold and elixir resources at certain times compared to collecting some 50k to 100k from collectors and mines. Seems like a long, long time will have to be spent to achieve upgrade targets. But to each his / her own.

I've done this and I can say that it works, got me to TH5 without ever getting attacked once.
BUT, once I got to TH6 all hell broke loose, gained 400 trophies in 1 night until someone finally got me a shield, lost few hundred thousand gold and elixir
Why would you not want to be attacked?
there is no challenges in the game, you just gotta wait till you get enough gold to upgrade things, the game gets kinda no point at all, if you dont get attacked why upgrade your stuff? If you dont attack why upgrade army?
Honestly, the fact that people put up such a huge argument and attempt to preach that I am "doing it wrong", I laugh from the bellows of my insides. I still have yet to been attacked, and according to numerous sources, upgrading everything before going to the next TH is the way to go! That's what I'm doing. Yalls ATTEMPT to blabber that I'm doing it wrong, yet ALL OF US WAIT BUILD TIMES. Frankly, right now it is PRIME. I do not wait a single second to upgrade anything, have all the unit upgrades AND spells, and neeeeeeeeeed the single player simply to waste elixer! Please cite a problem with my technique. Because in reality, it appears that I went with the right strategy off the bat and all you un-enthusiastic CoC players are salttttttttttt!

I am no G Euclid by any means, however, the 3-4 days I'm waiting, is 3-4 days I am collecting. AND NOT getting anything stolen, nor invested in troops to attack. It is alllll equal, and haven't had a problem since!
