What is nice about this game is everyone can play however they like, and get enjoyment out of the game. If you prefer not to attack, more power to you. I'd say most people enjoy it. And being attacked isnt that big of a deal if youre out raiding...you always come out ahead. Try it...you might like it!

Theres also Hay Day. I play that too and never get attacked there. Same concept. You might enjoy. Im not joking.

Oh no doubt, that's for not being hyper-critical too... It's just I have friends that mock my strat yet get so flustered when they lose 100+ trophies a day. I think my strat makes the game a bit longer

Sorry to say but those tactics sound incredibly boring.

I cannot see the point of playing the game if you never raid - or never get raided.

Yeah to each his own but you sure aren't learning how to attack so you'll have problems when you need to.

Live a little and go knock down a few villages. If your friends are losing 100 trophies in a day on a regular basis and not getting them back, you are either exaggerating again or your friends are REALLY BAD PLAYERS.

Besides, you only have twenty trophies. So even if you try really really hard, you still can't lose 100.

    Do it.

    Do it.

    Go crush a village.

    That is all.

Never attack anyone, upgrade every single thing before you upgrade to the next TH, upgrade your walls whenever you have spare gold. Typically leave at least 10-xx amount of wall upgrades to upgrade WHILE you upgrade your town hall.

***you only collect trophy bonuses on ATTACKS so forget that noise. I'm at lvl 7 th, 28 exp and have only been attacked once, so let that be an example.

You expecting people will never attack you because you didn't attack them ?
It's like expecting a lion will never eat you because you didn't eat it..

Not attacking people may work ok up TH7, beyond that costs go up considerably.

Why don't you just leave Clash of Clans on your device on forever and you will be recognised as online and no one will attack you anytime you are actually not active e.g sleep

In theory, this could work. HOWEVER - it would take forever to do. Get gold/elixir from raids then drop down to 0 trophies if you want the attacks to stop rolling in. Isn't the point of farming to hold on to resources and have an "unbeatable" base.

When farming I come across low lvl guys and take em' out like mules and when I'm attacked they can only get away with about 3k because of all my upgraded stuff. Food for thought.

BTW, if you need a clan, apply within.

OP, the reason you've only been attacked once is because of your low trophy count, more so than you not raiding.

The only ppl down at your trophy count are abandoned bases and people hunting abandoned bases. You probably represent 1% or less of the bases around your trophy count. You don't have enough resources in your collectors for the abandoned base hunters to want to target you, and they don't want to earn trophies so they leave your base alone (look for any thread in here with "sub200 farming" in the title to see what I'm talking about).

I can see why you think this is advantageous since you're only TH5 and have yet to reach a mature part of the game, but you will eventually learn that many people do not care about trophy count and about losing trophies. The game will be about trying to protect the hard-earned resources you get from farming (raiding), as that's the only way to progress in the game quicker, to upgrade your defenses, your army troops, and to learn how to become a more efficient and smart raider to take down bigger and better bases, using the minimum set of troops needed to get the job done.

Nothing wrong with doing what you're doing, but just a heads up, you haven't discovered something we all don't know, we just know that the dynamic of the game changes once you get to a higher TH level than you currently are. And we like raiding. It's probably the 1st or 2nd best part about this game in most peoples' opinions.
