Name Change Suggestion

Hi SuperCell.

I'm here to tell you how players love the village name change feature. And a lot are disappointed with the name change feature being used only once.

This is the suggestion. Want to earn more money?

Make a name change self-service feature for players in exchange of gems. So basically, WE PAY for the name change. Of course, the unused name change feature for players is still free on the first try. However, after that, we can't change names anymore correct? So add another feature that we can change our village name but this time in exchange of gems.

You decide what amount of gems. Say 500 maybe? or lesser?

Disadvantages:

I can't think of any. Perhaps additional load in database? Or additional work for your coders and developers but that's your job, to make this game better for your constituents.

Advantages:

Players will be happier with their villages and most probably reducing players who quit. And most importantly, people will make in-app purchases of gems so they could pay for the name change. A lot of players will do this I tell you.

Imho, one name change is enough.
Names aren't meant to be changed from time to time.

As per experience though, players from other online games who have the privilege to change names even in exchange of a certain amount or in-game currency are happy with it.

For the contention of names not being changed from time to time, perhaps there could be a cool down period like the cool down in buying shields.

There are obviously people that agree with you, and are content with one name change, however the majority of players in an online game may not like their name. This game came out two years ago. I may not agree with the name I chose 2 years ago today, hence the name change. If people pay for it, it's their responsibility and their money to do what they want with it, to make the game more enjoyable.

So, THATS WHY it's only one. I thought it was just to make clashers mad and clutter the forums with threads like this one
