Let us go to war with ourselves! It can be in place of war or with war. I'm guessing in place of war would be easier. You could even have the winner determine a new leader for a period of time (with limited powers of course, like not kicking actual leader). Instead of being labeled leader, they can be labeled rebel or something along those lines. It doesn't even have to be an all the time thing. It can be a promotional thing that happens every so often.

Yes! It would be the same as war, except one clan divided in two. How you would split the clan, I'm not sure. Perhaps automatically, perhaps we there are two sides and we can choose one. One side could be leader, other side a coleader or maybe elder. People opted out would not be in the civil war just like a regular war.
Then you could war against your own and test your own bases which SC has already said no to in ToS...

Reminds me of backyard monsters and I love this idea it could show what needs work on your defense as well.
Civil wars, as cool is they are (not) I don't think this would work out. Clans would break up because of this! And this could also be abused for real war! You could test someone's base and the owner can make it stronger! No Way! No How!
