So I prematured my base, now what?

Okay, so I'm sure this isn't the first time, but I (not knowing what I was doing) invested in the max town hall cap, whilst having quite an average base, my collectors are the only things that are maxed alongside my Town Hall.

The reason I rushed the upgrades is because I thought more collectors/defenses = better? Well yes, but not for farming. Nearly all the time when I find a base with 100K+ to attack, it's maxed with xbows etc.

I really do not want to start over since that is not how I do things, but what can I do to improve my farming and essentially rake in the gold/elixer.

    Thanks a bunch!

It's quite simple actually. You use a fast army that can raid easy targets many times an hour:

    1. If your army takes too long, use a faster army.
    2. If your targets are too hard, search for easier targets. (This also helps with #1, as easier targets need less troops.)

That's all there is to it.

I dropped myself from ~1650 to 1360. Honestly, in around 20-30 searches, I'm lucky to find a 60k target which is achievable. My army I used is normally 10 Wall breakers, 10 giants and 125 archers, (lvl 4, 4 and 5).

Again: fast army, weak opponent, many times an hour.

    1 hour army, 1 raid per hour, 200k per raid = 200k.
    30 minute army, 2 raids per hour, 100k per raid = 200k.
    10 minute army, 6 raids per hour, 40k per raid = 240k.
    5 minute army, 12 raids per hour, 25k per raid = 300k.

If I was in your situation, I would be looking for th4-6 with lots of full collectors on the outside, using a max of maybe 40 archers per attack, and expecting about 20k per raid and doing this about 10-12 times per hour.

Today I made 7 mill combined using an average of 10 goblins at a time, making anywhere from 1k to 50k per attack. You have to do the 1k raids quite often to cover search costs.

Goblins. Lots of goblins. At least 80 along at all times. Few giants and half archers you can swap right away. Go for the easy targets.

More looting hints on the guide from my signature.

Just raid with goblins and some wall breakers. Find the easy pickings and never keep any loot in storage, always upgrade something before bed time.
