I think xbows run for about 2 minutes(i think). I dont know about inferno but i guess they are about the same.

A fully loaded x-bow holds 1500 rounds of ammo. It fires every .128 seconds, so assuming a constant target (no pauses) a fully loaded x-bow will fire for 192 seconds, so just over 3 minutes - so you can not run out of ammo in one battle.

Inferno tower holds 750 rounds of ammo and also fires every .128 seconds, so a fully loaded one with no interruptions would fire for 96 seconds or a little over a minute and a half or 1/2 a battle.

Wow, inferno tower is the same but 750 rounds, so 96 seconds of continuous fire or about 1 minute, 36 seconds.
