    Better troop donations

I have two troop donation ideas that I think would improve game play:

    1) Non-war troop donations

Our clan, like many others, require a minimum troop donation every two weeks in order to stay a member. What makes this difficult for some members is that they might be in different time zones/countries than the majority of other members so satisfying the minimum can be kind of hard because while they are awake and online, most if not all of the other members are not so no requests for troops are being sent. My solution is to have a "holding" area, or camp, if you like, where clan members can put troops of their choice for other members to grab whenever they need them. Each member would have their own holding camp which can hold the equivalent of one of their regular camps. Or, one can designate one of their regular troop camps as a donation camp from which other clan members can "withdraw" troops. So lets say I deposit 5 wizards in this holding camp, and later in the day another member takes them, then I get the donation credits for the 5 wizards and the withdrawer gets charged for the withdrawal in their "request" count. To make it even easier to see who has troops available for withdrawal, when the clan member list is pulled up, each member that has troops available can have a star or some other symbol, or that particular members' name could be highlighted in some way.

    2) War CC donations

Allow non-war participants to donate to war CCs'. I don't think it is fair to not allow people who opt out of a war to not be able to support their own clan mates. Since it's already unfair that we don't get donation credits for donating to war CCs', this would at least make it a little better.

Less resources yet again as it would be another way to run off E I only

Bad idea simply because you could have say lvl 8 th's warring with a th10 on the sidelines filling cc's with max troops, most wars are poorly matched as it is without unbalancing wars even further!

I think 1 is a decent idea, I am one of those players who see a green button and have to push it, so my clanmates rarely get to donate...ha. We don't have donation requirements however, but it would help some of our late night players get donations when they are more difficult to come by.

However I don't think 2 would work, since if your in a mostly th8 clan and you have a max th10 sitting out just donating powerful troops to your war ccs, this would make the wars a little unbalanced. But you could fix this by just making war cc troop donations only as powerful as your highest persons participating in the wars troops. For example if your highest max dragon in war is lvl 3 and a th10 (sitting out of the war) wants to help out with war cc and donates his max dragon it gets reduced to lvl 3 (not counting any clan perks).

I understand what you're saying, and it's probably a good idea. But, I have to say that in the majority of our "little" wars where only ten or fifteen of our members are in the war, the TH levels can vary from th7 to th10, so in this instance, a th10 can certainly donate high level troops to a th7 or 8 anyway. So in reality, it really doesn't make any difference whether a member is in the war or not.

Ah ya in that case it wouldn't matter, I have always been in clans where either th8s and currently th9s have been the highest member in wars. So i have always been bitter (ha) about our opposing clans having even th10 troops in their cc for offense.

About a third of our members are strong th10s and the rest are made up of various levels of th8 and 9 and a couple of recent 7's, so our wars are usually a wide mix. While we prefer to win our wars, it isn't the focus of our clan so we don't get upset if some of our th7 or 8 members don't do well. Our focus is to have fun and camaraderie.
