The possibility to pause the gem boost on barracks once per boost period.
Reason : ive boosted barracks numerous times and then had my pager go off for a fire call out etc ... i understand that its bad luck but this way i find it fair and it would entice me into spending more gems as i dont have to worry

Once you boost their is no way to pause buddy.
It's like saying me pausing my shield time from going any lower after buying 1 week shield and keeping it paused and would be abused as id have it paused forever therefore nobody would be able to attack me.

Nothing to do about a sheild you cant compare your sheild to barracks . So when supercell have an update and your barracks are boosted they pause them when you log back on they unpause . Basically this can only be done once per boost period .. if you pay for a sheild and you want to attack while its on you lose itOriginally Posted by Scunner
Well yes once SC updates whatever is going on does get wasted and yes it should pause. I was using the shield as an example of a pausing as well.
I mean if you can pause a barrack from boosting then you'd revert back to regular speed and that's normal... hmm if this can't be abused then sure we should be able to pause barrack boost .
I agree with the abuse part . Maybe a time limit on the pause of say of 4 hours max example .
It would be unfair who have already have paused barracks since they have to go though the maintenance and when it is. I'd say this is a bad idea.
If u had a paused boost already and it went into a maintence break it just ads onto the time .. u only have a 2 hour boost anyway with a pause time of say 4 hours if the maintence break turn over while on the pause it starts on as normal when u log back on . I dont see how its unfair . Sc can take the unfairness out of it in how ? Well thats up to them . But a pause for boosted barracks once per boost for a period is all im asking for
