It used to be good till they made the loot worst when you attack lower town halls. Im a level 82 and i dropped down to 200 trophys just to get the achievment for winning when you get attacked, because you get attacked ALOT of times(like you said) with only lvl 2 troops. I love it. Or if you are going on vacation and you have alot of loot you don't want to loose, drop down in the 200s and you will loose none of your resources.
I tried it a few weeks ago (TH7) and i really didn't like it. For me, the 1100 range is so much better and i don't need to keep playing all the time.
If i can make 1.5m an hour as a TH 8 than yes a TH7 can make alot more.Originally Posted by pc12

It's a pain to get down there and to stay down there. The loot is good though.
Its really good if you know how to farm there, I made a lot there, so did Baconman and many others. You just have to be online... a lot
It in now way is a place for a town hall 10, I would not even go with a th 10

Again, the impossible achieved.
I average more like 1.0-1.5m an hour. But again, just confirming that at TH7, sub 200 farming is worth it. I try to average 3000 gold for every 1 goblin I use on any attack. Although this doesn't always happen.
And for those of you saying it takes a while to get down there...it takes like 10 minutes from around 900 cups. It will take you more than that long to train the troops for one attack at a higher cup count.
