Sub 200 sucks

I tried sub 200 farming... I did not like it.

The loot is hardly worth the cost of the raid, you get raided 24/7 (so far in the time I have been typing this, I have been raided 6 times in a row) any bases that have good loot are too heavily guarded, it takes forever to get down to that trophy range, and even longer to get back up to where you were at.

Take my advice: unless you are Uber hardcore at this and have the time and energy to stay on enough to make it worth your time, avoid this farming.

I just gave it a go too and didn't have much success either. Decided to try it since when I got to about 800 trophies, I kept coming up against heavily guarded TH5 and above (the wizard/mortar combos are too strong for me), and I remembered getting pretty decent loot at sub 200 the first time around. I guess it seemed more decent then because 5k gold was still a lot to me then lol.

You can probably find some gems (not the green ones =p) in there, but how long do you need to look I wonder? The logic makes sense though.. high level TH farming bases (or premature ones) with high level collectors being pushed down to sub 200 by inactivity should give a high yield, but perhaps the method became too popular. I didn't try it for long enough to judge I guess, but not once did I find anything above about 20k in each, and usually less than 5k.

The first time I tried I felt the same way but it really isn't that bad after a second time. First time I was th7 second was th8. It isn't too bad imo.

Try and be more patient with it. Sub 200 is all I do and I pull in some serious loot. Today I've made almost 4 million gold. That being said, some days it takes forever even to make one million. Maybe you caught it on an off time.

EDIT #2: Also, I find that loot is significantly better at night.

At th7 you should average 1.5-2.5m an hour sub 200. If your not than you are not farming properly.

1.5-2.5m an hour? I find that hard to believe with on average ~ 40k loots at sub 200. You're meaning to say you pull 60 of those per hour to achieve your '2.5 million'?

Yes. You should be getting the 40k loots with a handful of gobs. Do this constantly and you have yourself alot of resources.
